New Year's Morning: Many Catholics Back on Their Way to Hell

Jan 1 is the feast of "The Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God." It is a "holy day of obligation," meaning Catholics who missed Mass on Jan 1 have committed a mortal sin, therefore losing their salvation and are now back on their way to hell......again.

This is certainly bad news for all those Catholics who pounded too many drinks, partied too hard, or stayed up too late on New Year's Eve. If Catholic theology is correct, they better hope they don't die before getting to confession and eating some wafers!

As the Catechism of the Catholic Church says:

Para 2180: "The precept of the Church specifies the law of the Lord more precisely: On Sundays and other holy days of obligation (emphasis mine) the faithful are bound to participate in the Mass."

Para 2181: "Those who deliberately fail in this obligation commit a grave sin."

Whenever Rome uses the word "grave" - it means mortal sin. Para 1857: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave (emphasis mine) matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent."

The result of mortal sin? A loss of salvation. Para 1861: "It (mortal sin) causes exclusion from Christ's kingdom and the eternal death of hell."

However, Catholic theology is not correct. This whole "mortal sin" thing is nothing but a wicked invention of man to get people coming back to the Catholic Church for cheap salvation - kneel before the priest in confession, eat a wafer, and then one is supposedly okay with God again. Rubbish!

When Christ truly saves a person, He saves permanently. He said in John 10:28: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand."

Paul preached in Acts 13:38b-39a: "Through this Man (Christ) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins; And by Him all that believe are justified from all things."

Thank God for the blessed truth of the bible!! Those trusting in Christ ALONE "shall never perish," and are "justified from all things," not just some things.

Question - How can a Catholic take hold of these promises? Answer - By confessing Catholicism as sin, forsaking the Roman Church forever, and trusting in Christ ALONE for the full and free forgiveness of sins - NO Catholic priesthood and Catholic Church needed!

More Screwball Teaching from the Pope's Personal Preacher

The Catholic rejection of bible truth can lead to some strange "teachings" - in this case from the pope's personal preacher Father Reniero Cantalamessa. This was seen in the Dec 19 Zenit News Agency article titled, "Preacher: Give Birth to Christ this Christmas."

Jesus said in John 3:7 - "Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye (emphasis mine) must be born again."

However, Father Cantalamessa teaches it backwards. According to him, we need to give birth to Christ in our lives! Here are some of his quotes describing this screwball notion:

"We are mother's of Christ when we carry him in our heart and in our body by divine love and with a pure and sincere conscience."

"How holy and dear...and desirable above all things it is to have such a brother and such a son (emphasis mine), our Lord Jesus Christ."

Comment - Jesus can be our "son?" Wow! This is wickedness!!

"We give birth to him when we accomplish holy deeds that manifest him to the world."

"Once conceived, the blessed Son of God will be born in the heart so long as this soul, after having made a right discernment...puts his holy plan immediately into practice."

Then - the good Father said something really nutty:

"If the (holy) plan is not put into action, Jesus is conceived, but he is not born. It will become one of many spiritual abortions."

Comment - Yes......go ahead and shake your head, he actually said this. How could anyone in their right mind suggest that each one of us could be a "mother" to Christ, that we could have Christ as our "son," or that we could abort Christ?

This is Catholic insanity at it's worst!!! Catholics need to repent of the sin of Catholicism - it is the Spirit of God that births a sinner into becoming "a new creature" (2 Cor 5:17) in Christ, not Catholics allowing themselves to "give birth" to Jesus or by being some kind of "mother" to Him.

Kids Skipping Mass? It's not Rome's Fault!!

When there are problems within Catholicism, you can be sure that it's never Rome's fault. Such an example was seen in the Dec 2 Zenit News Agency article titled, "Kids Skipping Mass? Blame Ignorance, not Rebellion."

The article featured an interview with French priest Eric Jacquinet, who spoke about "causes for young people's estrangement from the church." Here are some reasons he gave:

1. "The family's inability to transmit the faith."

2. Many "young people are children of separated parents."

3. There are places in Europe where "Christians are in a minority amid the immigrants."

Oh......I get it! It's the parent's fault, or the government's fault! But God forbid, it's never Rome's fault.

Father Jacquinet also pulled out the ignorance excuse. Catholic apologists often use this line in trying to explain why people leave the Catholic Church. The thought goes something like this:

"They're just ignorant - if they really knew the Catholic faith, they would never have left the church." They will then blame some cathecist or individual priest for not fully teaching the "glories" of Rome to someone who left the Catholic Church.

Question - Why have I "skipped mass" since December, 1992?

Answer - Because God's Spirit convicted me of the sin of Catholicism. Yes, I did know what Rome was all about - wickedness and idolatry! I repented of being a Catholic, and I was then born again as a child of God through faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of my sins - no priests, wafers, confessions, holy days, popes, or priests needed!

Pope's Preacher Inspired by Two Adulterers

What brings joy to the heart of the pope's personal preacher when he thinks about life after death? Answer - a movie about two adulterers! This was revealed in the Oct 31 Zenit News Agency article titled, "Life After Death,"

In his commentary on the Roman feasts of All Souls Day and All Saints Day, Father Raniero Cantalamessa used an example from the movie Dr Zhivago to point to life after death and that "Jesus has prepared it (a place) for us."

What was the "example" from the movie? The adulterous relationship betwen Lara and Dr Zhivago! Permit me to quote from the pope's personal preacher at length:

"Those who have seen the movie 'Dr Zhivago' will remember the famous song from Lara, the sound track. The Italian version says: 'I don't know what it is, but there is a place from which we will never return...' The song points to...Two lovers find each other, seek each other, but they are those whom destiny...cruelly separates, until the final scene when their paths cross again, but without recognizing each other."

And here's the kicker:

"Every time I hear the notes of this song, my faith brings me almost to shout out inside me: Yes, there is a place from where we will never return."

The two people in this movie the good Father is referring to are - Lara, a woman who cheated on her husband, and Yuri Zhivago, who cheated on his wife, if you recall, while she was expecting baby number two!

This is what makes the pope's personal preacher want to "shout out inside me?" Wow.

By the way, Father, they weren't "Two lovers," they were two adulterers. Only a Catholic priest could look for inspiration about a guy who left his pregnant wife and small son for another woman.

This is another example of the Roman priesthood letting its wicked heart show! And this just wasn't any priest - but the priest who regularly preaches to the pope! Please pray daily for Catholic conversions.

Dancing Around the Bible Again

Catholic bishops from around the world are meeting in Rome Oct 5-26 for a “Synod on the Bible.” The bishops are once again faced with that Catholic dilemma of giving lip service to the bible as well as “encouraging” Catholics to read it, but hoping that no one actually does!

Some of this tension was noted in an Oct 16 Catholic News Service article on the synod titled, “Some Prelates Say Private Bible Reading Just First Step for Catholics.” For example:

“A recurring theme in the synod hall was the tension (emphasis mine) several bishops see between some schools of biblical scholarship and the traditional faith of the church.”

Cardinal William Levada called this, “One of the most delicate (emphasis mine) questions for the synod.”

Why should reading the bible be delicate? Or full of tension? Let me give you a translation of what they’re trying to say:

‘There’s lots of things in the bible that disagree with what the Catholic Church teaches, so let’s be careful not to push the bible too much!!’

And, Cardinal Odilo Scherer summed up best how Catholic bishops want people to read the bible:

“Exegesis is not enough because understanding what God is saying requires an attitude of listening in faith (emphasis mine).”

Another translation is needed here. Listening in faith – what His Eminence really means is:

‘If you read the bible and see anything that contradicts Catholic teaching, then don’t trust the bible, trust the Catholic priesthood.’

Comment – The poor Catholic clergy – they’ve always got to perform this high-wire balancing act of praising the bible, yet hoping no one reads it! The last thing a Catholic priest or bishop wants is a person reading the bible. Why? Because the true Christ is found in the bible, whereas Rome presents a false christ – one who turns himself into wafers, and does whatever Mary tells him!

God has made the bible so simple even a child can come to faith in Christ from it. 2 Tim 3:15 says:

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Jesus Christ.”

The bible points people to - Christ. The Catholic Church points people to – antichrist! No wonder Catholicism hates the bible so much.

The Catholic "Jesus" - Endangered by High Commodity Prices

Thieves recently broke into Detroit’s Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and stole, “The tabernacle, chalices and ciboriums, candlesticks and votive candle holders, processional crosses, light fixtures, an ice cream cart, and even the corpus of a crucified Christ that was removed from the cross it was on.” This was reported in the Sept 12 issue of The Michigan Catholic, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit, in an article titled, “Tabernacle, Other Sacred Items Stolen from Historic Corktown Church.”

The article said:

"The theft is yet another incident of thieves stealing copper, bronze and other metal items from area churches, as high scrap metal prices have increased the vulnerability of older buildings, especially churches."

Parish priest Father Russ Kohler made light of the fact that the Catholic “Jesus” - inanimate wafers locked up inside the tabernacle - was stolen:

“This won’t be the first time Jesus has been between two thieves. I’d like them to be appreciative of His presence, but we’d like Him back.”

Comment – only in the Catholic Church could “Jesus” be stolen along with light fixtures and an ice cream cart!

What’s the Catholic Church to do? With commodity prices going higher and higher, storing “Jesus” in metal containers may be dangerous! Maybe they should put “Him” in cardboard boxes or paper bags – but just be sure all the wafers are gone before recycling!

Every once in a while we are reminded of the utter foolishness that results from the thinking that Jesus turns Himself into wafers at the command of a Catholic priest. No such thing happens.

Pray that God gives Catholics the grace to see through the wickedness of wafer-worship; that they repent of the sin of Catholicism, and receive Christ by faith ALONE for the full and free forgiveness of sins – no Catholic priests or wafers needed!

Pope and His Priests - Still Telling God What to Do

“In honor of the 2,000th anniversary of the birth of St Paul, Pope Benedict XVI has designated June 2008 through June 2009 as the Pauline Year.” This was reported in the Aug 22 Catholic Universe Bulletin, the newspaper of the Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, in an article titled, “Pilgrims Celebrate Pauline Year Close to Home.”

The pope likes to demonstrate how he can boss God around. One way is how the pope gives priests power to command Christ to turn Himself into wafers and wine – a truly awesome spectacle!

Another example of this power is the indulgence – whereby the pope relieves Catholics the temporal punishment of their sins by instructing them to do certain rituals or visit certain places.

To celebrate the birth of Paul, His Holiness had “A decree published by the Apostolic Penitentiary (that) offers a plenary indulgence to pilgrims honoring St Paul. Ideally, the pilgrim would visit St. Paul Outside the Walls in Rome, where St Paul is entombed.”

However, in these times of a slow economy and weak dollar, Cleveland bishop Richard Lennon has recognized that many Catholics can’t get to Rome this year. Therefore “Lennon has applied the decree to churches in the Diocese dedicated to St Paul.”

So……all a Catholic has to do to get this indulgence is to make a short pilgrimage to one of the churches named St Paul in northeast Ohio. That’s a lot cheaper than going all the way to Rome!

Comment – At least Bishop Lennon is allowing Catholics a full indulgence if they confine their “pilgrimage” to northeast Ohio. Earlier this year when the pope went to World Youth Day in Australia, he granted full indulgences to those who made trip down under, but only partial indulgences for those who stayed home and only prayed for the event.

This is the heart of the Roman priesthood – that sinful man commands and God jumps. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (para 882) says the pope has: “Full, supreme, and universal power over the whole church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.” This is wickedness! How dare a mere man claim such power!

Question - what is the “god” of Rome like? Answer – in 2008-2009 “god” will give special privileges to those who visit a parish named St Paul, but not a parish named anything else! This is absurd. Please pray that the God of the bible would free people from such a foolish and false religious system.

Bone Chips or the Bible?

A “silver box containing a small piece of bone believed to be a 2,000-year-old fragment of the remains of St Andrew” was stolen Aug 4 from the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, Massachusetts. This was reported in the Aug 9 Boston Globe article “Church Says Relic of Saint Stolen.”

The priest said, “What was beautiful for us here is what was inside the box.” The bone inside was about the size of the tip of a left pinkie finger.

The priest also said, “The relic of St Andrew is a beacon for prayer, symbolizing the purity of life.”

This priest is crazy! A bit of bone calls people to “prayer” and “purity??”

Comment – It’s the bible that points us to purity, not bone chips from who knows where! Psalm 119:9 says:

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed therefore to Thy word.”

The unregenerate mind, be it Catholic or its close cousin, the eastern so-called “Orthodox,” has this bizarre idea that dead body parts somehow help people draw closer to God – and this is straight out of paganism:

1. In ancient Greece, the shoulder blade of Pelops supposedly delivered the Eleans from pestilence.

2. The bones of Hector were brought to Thebes and reverenced because Zeus was impressed by this.

What can this priest do? He could easily solve his problem by putting a chicken bone in a box, and no one at his church would know the difference!

I’ll take the bible over bone chips any day of the week! Please pray daily for conversions from these eastern so-called “Orthodox” churches, as well as conversions from Romanism.

Roman Cardinal: Illegal Immigration "A Call to the Kingdom of God"

The Catholic Church unveiled its newest “reason” for promoting illegal immigration into the USA. This was seen in a speech given to the US Catholic “National Migration Conference” by Cardinal Renato Martino, president of the “Pontifical Council for Migrants and Travelers,” and reported on in a July 28 Zenit News Agency article titled, “Cardinal Looks at Role of Providence in Migration.”

This new theme can be summed up as: ‘Illegal immigration is how God is building unity in His church (read – Catholicism) and making it “visible.”’

Here are a few samples of what His Eminence said:

“The phenomenon of migration contributes to making the true face of the universal Church visible.”

“The passage from monocultural to multicultural societies can be a sign of the living presence of God in history…for it offers a providential opportunity for the fulfillment of God’s plan for a universal communion.”

“Migrants, too, can be the hidden providential builders of such a universal fraternity…”

“Today’s migrations may be considered a call, albeit a mysterious one, to the Kingdom of God…”

“The migration phenomenon…contributes to making the true face of the Church visible and brings out the value of migrations from the point of view of ecumenism…”

Comment - According to Martino, illegals crossing our borders are “providential builders” calling us “to the Kingdom of God.” Only a Catholic cardinal could be so brazen as to tell such a LIE!

Yes……I would agree that Catholicism is being made more “visible” through illegal immigration. But then, Catholicism is not God’s church! Catholicism is Satan’s counterfeit church.

God’s real church – those who have been born again and are trusting in Christ ALONE for salvation – is made “visible” by the preaching of the word of God! Acts 4:4 says:

“Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of men was about five thousand.”

Please keep praying that God stops illegal immigration. (Don’t count on Bush, McCain, or Obama to do anything about it.) Rome is hoping that the USA can be turned into another Latin American country – with all the poverty, disease, squalor, superstition, and corruption that Catholic Latin America has been always famous for.

After 2,000 Years - It's Still in Committee

Catholics like to tell us their church has been around for 2,000 years. If so, then after all this time, they still haven’t figured out to deal with priestly sex offenders!! This was revealed in an interview with Australian Archbishop Philip Wilson of Adelaide, in a July 19 Zenit News Agency article titled, “Toward Never Another Sexual Abuse Crisis.”

Here are some article highlights (italics mine):

“Archbishop Philip Wilson…agrees that the church needs a plan to not only respond, but to also prevent these acts from happening in the future.”

“Also to do the work that’s necessary to make sure that this will and cannot happen again.”

“We need to work out ways in which children can be protected and looked after in our communities without being any danger to them.”

“I think that people everywhere are working really hard at devising the most appropriate ways to respond…”

“We need to be looking at what we need to do as a community in order to develop better child protection systems.”

So……according to His Grace, Rome still needs - “a plan” - “to do the work” - “to work out ways” - “to respond” and - “to be looking at what we need to do.”

What was the archbishop really saying? Here’s a paraphrase: ‘Let’s keep saying we’re working on the problem. We’ll get the priests to lay low for a while, and maybe that will get people off our backs.’ The Catholic Church is responding to the sex abuse issue like any worldly bureaucracy would – it hopes to bury it in committee!!

Question – How long will it take before the Catholic Church finally has “a plan” to deal with priestly child abusers?

Answer- You should live so long!

May God continue to protect children from the Roman priesthood. May He grant many Catholics repentance from the sin of Catholicism, and bless them with saving faith in Christ ALONE for eternal life – no Catholic Church needed!

Follow the Priests -- To Follow the Money

“Churches in Chad, Sudan, and Djibouti Appeal for More Priests, Religious.” This was the title of a July 15 Catholic News Service article.

The Catholic Church is again whining about its “priest shortage,” this time in Africa. So……let’s take a look at the 2001 Statistical Year Book of the (Catholic) Church. The following numbers are Catholics per priest around the world:

Australia – 1536. Europe – 1386. US/Canada – 1420. Latin America – 7120. Africa – 4723.

The solution seems rather obvious. If Africa is suffering from a priest shortage, then Rome should move some priests from Australia, Europe, the USA, and Canada to Africa!

Comment – Fat chance!! It doesn’t appear that many priests are lining up to leave the good life in the USA for the huts, poverty, disease, and squalor of Africa or Latin America!

As a matter of fact, the opposite is happening. The USA, for example, is receiving priests from all over the world!! In 2006, 16% of priests in the USA were foreign-born, and 27% of those ordained to the priesthood were foreign-born.

Why isn’t the pope responding to Africa’s call for priests? The answer is money - this is what’s important to the pope and his church. Catholics in Africa can cry all they want about needing more priests, but rest assured the pope will keep priests where the money is – in Australia, Europe, the USA, and Canada.

Pope -- If You've got the Money, I've got the Indulgence

The Vatican will be holding “World Youth Day” July 15-20 in Sydney, Australia. An estimated 100,000 Catholic youth, in addition to lots of bishops and priests, will attend. The headliner will be Pope Benedict XVI himself!

“World Youth Day” is something John Paul II started in 1985, and now takes place every two-three years.

And once again – the papacy has shown itself to favor those with money. On July 5 it was announced that Benedict XVI will be granting plenary indulgences for those who can afford to make it all the way to Sydney for this event. However, for those who cannot afford to make it, but will pray for the event, the pope will grant only partial indulgences.

What is an indulgence? According to Rome - A remission of the temporal punishment a person is due for sins that have been forgiven.

Question – If the pope has this power – why will he let those who cannot afford a trip to Australia suffer more for the “temporal punishment” of their sins than those who can afford the trip?

Answer – In truth the pope does NOT possess this power. He is a liar, a fraud, and antichrist!

Thank God the real Jesus Christ of the bible does not care one whit about money.

How to Become Bishop Without Really Trying

In Catholicism, one of the most oft used ways to get ahead is by peppering articles, homilies, and letters with quotations from the popes! Catholic bishops (as well as priests politicking for that bishop’s mitre) are very adept at this. It’s the pope who makes bishops, so those who’ve become bishop have shown an especial talent for flattering the papacy.

Such an example was seen in the June 29 Pastoral Letter titled, The Church Alive, by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Bishop David Zubik.

Read any Catholic bishop over time, and you’ll see how much they quote the popes. Zubik’s letter is nothing unusual, it’s typical of the stuff they write. For example:

1. “In his apostolic letter The Coming of the Third Millenium, our late Holy Father, Pope John Paul the Great recognized…”

2. “One of those struggles is what Pope Benedict XVI refers to as…”

3. “When recently visiting our country, Pope Benedict challenged us Catholics…”

4. “Pope John Paul II, in his last encyclical to the church…”

5. “On June 29, 2007, in his homily…our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI invited us…”

And this is all just in the first four pages of a 24-page letter.

Oh……and lots of references to the benefits of wafers also goes over well! Zubik wrote:

“As Catholics, we have come to understand the great gift which Jesus Christ instituted as a means for us to abide in the life of God – the Holy Eucharist.”

Comment - Quotes from antichrist (the pope) and worship of the phony Roman wafer-god – I suppose it’s a way to get ahead in the pope’s kingdom, but certainly NOT in God’s kingdom! This only shows the horrible wickedness that flows from the heart of the Catholic priesthood!

May God open the eyes of more Catholics to the iniquitous nature of the Roman priesthood, free them from Rome, and bless them with faith ALONE in Christ for eternal life – no priests, bishops, popes, or wafers needed!

The Catholic Eucharist - A Vital Weapon in Satan's Arsenal

The Roman clergy has many ways to control the Catholic “faithful.” Keeping Catholics baffled, dazed, and confused regarding the “Eucharist” is such an example.

This was evidenced last week in what Cardinal Joseph Tomko said to a “Eucharistic Congress” held in Quebec City, Quebec. This was reported in the June 16 Zenit News Agency article titled, “Cardinal: If They Understand the Mass, They’ll Come.”

What is a Eucharistic Congress? It’s where thousands of Catholics meet for a week and hear literally dozens of speeches from bishops around the world on the benefits of eating Catholic wafers. What a horrible (and boring!) week that must be!!

The article started out:

“’If Catholics really understood (emphasis mine) the meaning of Sunday Mass, they wouldn’t miss it,’ Cardinal Joseph Tomko said.”

“The cardinal added, ‘If we understand in depth the meaning of our weekly Eucharist, we will revise our frequentation to it.’”

But then, in several other speeches the Eucharist was spoken of as a mystery. For example, the pope told the Congress (via video link) on June 22:

“I would like everyone to make a commitment to study this great mystery.”

Nigerian Cardinal Francis Arinze’s June 22 speech was titled: “A Mystery to be Lived.”

Polish Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz said on June 17, “’I remember’ means that I also make that mystery present here, where I am.”

What are Catholics being exhorted to do? To try and understand a mystery. Lots of luck!! In truth, Jesus does NOT turn Himself into wafers. This idea of actually “eating the god” comes from paganism – whether it was the corn of the Roman god Ceres, the cakes of the Egyptian god Osiris, or “cakes to the queen of heaven” (Jer 7:18).

Most Catholics will leave this congress:

1. Lying to themselves, thinking they are growing “holier” by eating lots of wafers, when in fact a lie – like the Roman Eucharist is – cannot strengthen them.

2. Banging their heads against the wall – trying to understand a phony mystery.

However, may God give some of those Catholics the grace to see through this hellish doctrine, and bless them repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins – no wafers needed!!

Was Jesus a Sinner? Rome Must Think So

Gross Catholic idolatry is on display as an art tour called “Vatican Splendors” is touring the USA, and is presently on exhibit in Cleveland, Ohio. This was reported in the May 30 Catholic Universe Bulletin, the newspaper of the Diocese of Cleveland, in an article titled, “Exhibit a Celebration of Art, Culture, Christianity, and History.”

The highlight of the exhibit is the “Mandylion of Edessa.” As the article explains:

“In the first century of the Common Era, during the time of Christ………..”

Whoa! Stop right here! Common Era? It looks like the Diocese of Cleveland has joined the pagans in refusing to use “AD” – Year of Our Lord – as a year designation, and is now using the politically correct (and Christ denying) “CE” – the Common Era designation.

But to continue:

“…During the time of Christ, there’s a legend that says King Abgar of Edessa in modern-day Turkey had an incurable sickness. Hearing of the miracles of Jesus, he wrote to him asking for his help. Jesus wrote back saying he could not come back to Edessa…But he promised that when he ascended to heaven, he would send a disciple to heal Abgar. Before he died Jesus pressed his face into a rectangular piece of cloth and after he died, did indeed send one of his disciples to Abgar with the cloth.”

“’The Mandylion of Edessa’ as the cloth is known today is believed to be the earliest image of Christ.”

The “Mandylion” on display is a third-fifth century copy of the “original,” which supposedly bounced around Europe until being lost in the French Revolution.

This is nuts!! The Second Commandment (which the Church of Rome does not recognize and tries to hide it within the First Commandment) says in Exodus 20:4:

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”

To believe that Jesus made an image of Himself is to believe that He broke one of His own Commandments – and is therefore a sinner! Jesus said in John 8:46a: “Which of you convinceth Me of sin?” Evidently – the Catholic Church does, as well as all who believe Jesus made an image of Himself.

May the Spirit of God expose the wickedness of this exhibit and the Catholic Church! Please pray that God give Catholics the grace to confess Catholicism as sin, forsake Rome forever, and to receive Christ by faith ALONE for the full and free forgiveness of sins.

The Priests Play - and the People Pay!

The Los Angeles Archdiocese is stuck with $720 million in sex abuse settlements, so Cardinal Roger Mahony met earlier this year with clergy and lay leaders from various parishes in an effort to figure out how they can help bail him out. This was reported in the May 26 Los Angeles Times article, “ LA Parishes Pitch in to Pay After Clergy Abuse.”

Crafty guy that he is (how do you think he became a cardinal!), “Mahony said he had decided against trying to raise funds directly from the Los Angeles area’s estimated 5 million Roman Catholics, saying he feared such a move might create ill will among parishioners and lead to resentment of the abuse victims.”

Therefore it’s been left up to the priest and lay leaders of each individual church as how to much money they would give to help the archdiocese. Some churches have paid a lot, some a little, and others have still “not yet decided.”

A few comments:

1. Through this whole sex abuse scandal, the tendency of the Roman clergy to circle the wagons and protect itself at the expense of the laity has been so evident! However, when it comes to paying off the sex abuse victims – all of a sudden it’s “WE.” As one priest pontificated, “It’s important that we the church (italics mine) take care of this.” This is how Catholicism works – the priests abuse children, and the laity gets to pay the bills!

2. This is a great opportunity for some priests to kiss up to Mahony by soaking their parishes! One such priest had his parish provide almost $1.5 million, leaving only $1,000 in the church bank account. My experience as a Catholic showed me that the smart priests are always angling to look good before their bishops.

Please pray daily for Catholic conversions, and that our Lord continue to expose the wicked nature of the Roman Church and its priesthood.

Contemporary "Worship"

Wherever it is in the world, the Catholic Church can be likened to a chameleon – always seeking to be popular by blending in with and borrowing from the local culture. This has happened in the USA as Catholics have embraced the tacky “contemporary worship” found in a lot of churches today.

Sadly, many evangelical and Protestant churches have abandoned solid bible teaching and godly, reverent worship, and now seek to attract and retain crowds by using rock-n-roll, what they euphemistically call “contemporary worship.”

And – the Catholic Church has noticed the large crowds this music brings. Ever the chameleon, Rome is now using this garbage to attract crowds! Such an example was reported on in the May 16 Catholic Universe Bulletin, the newspaper of the Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, in an article titled, “Rocking the House.”

On May 4 outside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in downtown Cleveland, the Cleveland Diocese sponsored an event called “Real Music.” Hundreds of Catholic youth attended this as various bands competed for the chance to play at a Catholic event this coming August. Some of the groups included:

1. For My Escape – described as a “hard-rocking, head banging group who got the energy level up right away.”

Comment – Does Christ accept hard-rocking, head banging “worship?” No.

2. Christian Spirit Band – “a mesh of south-of-the-border sounds, with a positive message and a fiesta mood.”

Comment – With Catholic support for illegal immigration, I guess this was to be expected!

3. End Time Worship – “with their upbeat Christian message and a happy, pop music-like sound.”

Comment – Would our Lord Jesus really shuck ‘n jive to dah moosic? No.

I’m not surprised Rome is using this stuff now – Rome is an unregenerate and dead church. But what’s really bothersome is how evangelical and Protestant churches have brought this trash in and jettisoned 400 years of godly worship music.

60 years ago, if you wanted to listen to rock-n-roll, you had to go so some colored whorehouse or saloon. Today it’s in our churches. And by the way, let’s not forget what “rock-n-roll” originally referred to!

Every Sunday morning as we open our hymnals at church, I ask our Lord to free those churches that have been overcome by this rock-n-roll filth. Please pray daily that Christ cleanse His churches of “contemporary worship.”

Why the Catholic Church Needs Illegal Immigration

An example of the Catholic need for illegal immigration was seen in the May 11 Catholic New World, the Archdiocese of Chicago newspaper, in an article titled, “11 Men to be Ordained for Archdiocese.”

On May 17 Chicago Cardinal Francis George ordained 11 men to the Roman priesthood – none of whom are from the USA! Five are from Poland, two from Tanzania, two from Mexico, one from Columbia, and one from Ecuador. To quote from the article:

“All accepted the Archdiocese of Chicago’s invitation to leave their homeland and minister to the church here.”

Comment – I can’t blame them (the newly ordained priests, that is). Life will be a lot easier than it is in Tanzania or Ecuador!

The article made no mention of any complaining by Mexican Catholic bishops about this. This is interesting because in Mexico there is one priest for every 7000 Catholics, while in the USA there is one priest for every 1400 Catholics. You would think that the USA would be sending priests to Mexico to even things up!

The real story is - the Catholic Church knows it has Mexico fully in its grip, so they’re not concerned about a “priest shortage” down there. What counts is bolstering the Catholic Church in the USA – which, if there had not been any illegal immigration the past 40 years, there would be the same number of Catholics here as were in 1965.

The Chicago archdiocese has 2.3 million Catholics – and not one from Chicago for the priesthood this year! This is good news as it should encourage us to keep praying daily for Catholic conversions. And may we also keep praying that our Lord stop the illegal immigration that is destroying the USA.

He Can't Get Away from This Guy

“Carl Mawhinney is infuriated at what has come to the ‘hood. Dale Fushek, the Catholic priest whom he accuses of sexually related misbehavior with him when he was a young teenager two decades ago, has brought his upstart non-denominational church to within a half-mile of Mawhinney’s home in Mesa.”

This was reported in the April 26 East Valley/Scottsdale (Arizona) Tribune, in an article titled, “Neighbor Angry Over Fushek’s New Church.”

Fushek is a suspended priest from the Diocese of Phoenix. He’s facing several charges relating to sexual misbehavior back in the 80’s and early 90’s, and Mawhinney’s case is one of those charges! Fushek’s first pre-trail hearing is scheduled for May 21.

What Fushek and an ex-priest have done is start something called “The Praise and Worship Center.” It resembles one of those wimpy, non-denominational evangelical churches – meeting in a large auditorium, with a watered-down message, along with the requisite and trashy rock-n-roll “praise” music with lyrics suited to the level of four-year-olds.

The Praise and Worship Center is now meeting on Sunday mornings at a place called Fiesta Fountains, a banquet and conference center a half-mile from Mawhinney’s home! When Mawhinney found this out he said, “He is setting up shop in my neighborhood. I can’t believe that he is doing this.”

“Mawhinney said he stepped in the foyer of Fiesta Fountains on Sunday and asked if it was Fushek’s new location. Immediately a man confronted him and told him, ‘You really need to come here and hear Dale’s message. He is awesome and he is full of the Holy Spirit.’”

“I looked at him and I said, ‘I won’t be attending this because I am one of the victims that was abused by him,’ Mawhinney said.”

The Phoenix Diocese is of no help in this matter, as they have washed their hands of anything Fushek now does.

Sadly, Mawhinney is still a Catholic. May Christ free him from his hurt and from the sin of Catholicism. Please keep praying daily for Catholic conversions, and that God protect children from – the Roman Catholic priesthood.

Padre Pio's Corpse Needs Tidying Up

Question - What’s the Catholic Church to do when the exhumed dead body of a “saint” isn’t in good shape?

Answer – They hire a company like Gems Studio of London, which does work for Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum!!

This was reported in the April 24 Catholic News Service in an article titled, “Cardinal: Relic of Padre Pio Reminds Catholics Saints were People.”

“Padre Pio” (real name Francesco Forgione 1887-1968) was an Italian priest who had the “stigmata” - bleeding hands and feet - and was named a “Saint” by John Paul II in 2002. Catholics attribute these wounds to some sort of “holiness,” whereas in reality it was nothing more than psychosomatically induced self-mutilation in order to achieve some personal fame and notoriety.

To commemorate the 40 years since his death, the church at San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy wants to display Padre Pio’s corpse in a new, crystal tomb. The body was dug up March 2 and, “Was in fair condition, although the skull and parts of the upper body showed serious decay.”

Bummer!! A corpse looking like that won’t bring in the tourist money! So, what did the Catholic Church decide to do? They “Hired Gems Studio, a London-based firm that makes figures for Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, to create a silicon mask – including a short moustache and ample beard – for the body.”

Well……It looks like “Padre Pio” will join other Gems Studio wax creations such as John Wayne, Emperor Franz Joseph, and Mozart.

Gems also does something called animatronics – it’s where the wax figure can actually move and talk! As a matter of fact, the London Madame Tussaud’s museum has an animatronic figure of comedian Jim Carrey presently on display. There’s been no word if Padre Pio’s mask will talk or not.

Once again we see this weird Catholic fascination with dead bodies; it’s actually quite macabre when you think about it. Please pray daily for Catholic conversions, as only the power of Christ can free people from such a system.

Priest in Hot Water

Father Frank Murd resigned last week from his church in the Toledo, Ohio area as he is “under investigation for an accusation of improper sexual contact with an adult.” This was reported in the April 19 Cleveland, Ohio Plain Dealer, in an article titled, “Priest Under Investigation had Previous Arrest.”

“The incident reportedly occurred in a hot tub at the Jewish Community Center in Sylvania Township between 9:30 and 10 PM March 18, according to township police. An unidentified male called police about 11:30 that night.”

A priest making homosexual moves in a hot tub – it’s funny, I have to laugh! Does Jesus really obey the commands of men like Father Murd, and turn Himself in wafers and wine? I don’t think so!

Murd was also arrested in 1998 for public indecency.

So what is the Toledo diocese doing with him? According to an April 11 statement by Bishop Leonard Blair: “Father Murd has been re-assigned to a residential facility for appropriate spiritual remedies and for professional evaluation and counseling.”

This also is laughable. This is what they used to do with all those child-molesting priests. The article went on:

“The Toledo diocese said Friday that it is conducting its own investigation into the sexual assault accusation.”

Translated, here’s what the diocese is really doing: “We’re going to work as best we can to cover up for this guy!”

"Bush Says He Sees God in Eyes of Pope"

Yes……this was the title of an April 13 Zenit News Agency article about an interview that unser Fuehrer……excuse me……our President George Bush had with the American Catholic TV network EWTN.

With the pope of Rome coming to America this week, Bush is kissing up to the Catholic Church. He was asked in the interview:

“When you look into Benedict XVI’s eyes what do you see?”

“And Bush answered immediately, ‘God.’”

Comment – How sad it is to see the US president groveling at the feet of Rome. I used to think Bill Clinton was the worst president ever. But I’ve repented - I was wrong! Bush is by far the worst president ever! How can any Christian continue to support this man??

When I look into the eyes of the pope, I see – antichrist! And an enemy of a free, open-bible, Protestant America!

Bush also said he’s against abortion. (The Republican Party has had 35 years to do something about abortion – and hasn’t. They just use abortion every election cycle to whip up votes – without intending to do anything about it! It’s amazing how many non-critically thinking American Christians buy this line every time, and go mindlessly vote Republican.)

And of course, the issue of illegal immigration – also known as the Catholic invasion of America – never came up.

And some people still claim Bush and the Republicans care about national security!! All I’ve seen from Bush is that he cares more about the Iraq border than the US border with Mexico.

“Bush will go the airport to receive the Holy Father, a courtesy he has never extended to any visiting leader.”

Ugh. Benedict XVI must really be looking forward to meeting this patsy. I’m sure Bush will be putty in the pope’s hands.

Bishops Were Not Worried

When the Catholic priest sex abuse scandal was publicly exposed in 2001, Catholic bishops were not really worried about it. They knew the vast majority of Catholics in the pews, like robots, would keep mindlessly coming to church, and most importantly – continue to donate money!

Seven years later things are back to normal, as seen in an April 3 Cleveland, Ohio Plain Dealer article titled, “NE Ohio Catholics’ Giving Sets Record High,” which reported:

“Northeast Ohio Catholics are filling up the collection basket again as time and church reforms appear to be healing old wounds from the clergy sex-abuse scandal. More than five years after the scandal shook the church, offertory giving last year reached a record high in the Cleveland Catholic Diocese. Parishioners gave $109 million, an almost 3 percent increase, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007.”

“Sociologist Dean Hoge of Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., said national research shows that the initial outrage of people in the pews has turned so mild that ‘You can hardly see any effect. We're back to normal…I think it's just out of mind.’”

As an ex-Catholic, I know how most Catholics handled the sex abuse scandal – They closed their eyes, covered their ears, and thought to themselves, “Oh please, let this be over quickly.” Now, the storm clouds have passed, and they can go back to playing “church.”

By the way……If you or I had sexually abused children like Catholic priests did, we’d have been tossed into jail, and the key thrown away!! But the priests were protected by their bishops and all the lawsuit money paid out.

Even as the settlements were being paid, Catholic bishops knew that donations would keep coming in, and that in a few years it would all be forgotten. The bishops knew that soon enough the average Catholic would be thinking: “We’re back to normal…it’s just out of mind.”

Please keep praying for Catholic conversions, and as for the wicked Roman priesthood, let our prayer be from Psalm 58:6: “Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.”

Do Catholics Hate God?

A class teaching people to paint icons of Christ will be held June 9-13 at St Emilian Catholic Church in Brunswick, Ohio. This was reported in the March 2 issue of the Horizons, the newspaper of the Diocese of Parma, Ohio, in an article titled, “Father Visnovsky to Teach Icon Writing/Painting Class in Brunswick.”

“Iconography students will be able to choose from two images of Christ Pantocrator (Greek for “almighty,”) or the Holy Napkin (Veronica’s Veil). This class is appropriate for beginners as well as those with artistic experience.”

This shows one of the most basic places where the Church of Rome corrupts the word of God – by omitting the 2nd Commandment (Ex 20:4: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image”), and then making up for it by splitting the 10th Commandment (Ex 20:17: “Thou shalt not covet”) into two Commandments.

How does the Catholic Church justify their use of images and statues in worship? They’ll say that since the Son of God became a man, it’s okay to make images now. Or, because God allowed the Ark of the Covenant to be created, therefore “objects” can be used in “worship.”

Comments:

1. Deuteronomy 16:17 says: “Neither shall thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.” God has not changed His mind about images. He still hates images!

2. The Ark of the Covenant was only seen by one man, the high priest, one day a year. It was not for the people to look at or even come near to. And who is our high priest today? Christ. That the Ark of the Covenant existed is no reason to employ any images or statues in worship.

(When I was a Catholic, I used to bow down to such things, kneel before them, kiss them, and use them in worship.)

After giving the 2nd Commandment, God commented on it in Ex 20:5:

“Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them (images): for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me (emphasis mine).”

"Hate Me" – God says those who use images "hate" Him. The bible is very clear – we don’t need a “magisterium” to interpret this!

I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for freeing me from Rome, and that on the cross His blood paid for my sin of using images. May the Spirit of God open the hearts of those taking this class, as well as many other Catholics, to what the word of God says about images – and grant them repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins – no icons, images, or statues needed!

"Bible" - How Rome Likes It

The Catholic Church’s perverted view of the bible was on display, literally, the past three months at the Phoenix Art Museum, as the “St John’s Bible” just ended a three month-stint there on March 9. What is the St John’s Bible?

It is a hand-written, medieval-style, vellum (calfskin) paged, replete with illustrations bible. It was commissioned several years ago by the St John’s Abbey in Minnesota, and produced by Donald Jackson, a Welsh artist and former scribe to Queen Elizabeth II.

This was reported in The Catholic Sun, the Phoenix, Arizona diocesan newspaper, in a Dec 6, 2007 article titled, “Illuminated Bible Exhibit Celebrates the Old in a New Way.”

St John’s Abbey Father Eric Hollas said, “We wanted to emphasize that the art and illuminations of this bible should be contemporary…something that would express 21st century artistic temperament.”

And – Father Hollas got his wish! Here are some of the screwball things incorporated into this bible:

1. Several illustrations incorporate images of the Hubble Space Telescope.

2. “Across the pages of the Book of Psalms are graphic renditions of sound waves, representing that Jews and Christians alike have sung these sacred poems for centuries.”

3. Other illustrations “point to themes of hospitality, the link between Judaism and Christianity, women in the bible, and the poor and oppressed.”

4. Adam and Eve are portrayed as Africans, while the decorative framing around them includes African tapestry patterns with a Peruvian feather cape.

Interesting……How do you spell politically correct?

Comment – You ought to see some of the other “illustrations” in this bible – it all looks like trash from Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollack, or stuff I did in 3rd grade art class. It’s that bad!!

This bible is written in English using the NRSV translation. Calligraphers created all sorts of new, medieval-style letters for this “bible.” For example, in the Pentateuch, there are over 70 different ways the letter “T” is drawn.

Hollas said, “Art has the ability to cross the gap and project a message that words alone sometimes cannot do (emphasis mine).”

This project reveals the real attitude of Catholicism toward the bible – all gussied up but difficult, if not impossible to read and understand! The heart of Rome yearns for those days when bibles were locked up in monasteries and churches, unread by the people. The last thing a Catholic priest wants is people reading (gasp!) a bible!

Father Hollas is a liar – “words alone” have served the purposes of God quite well. Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Thank God for the printing press! Every day as you open your bible, ask God to protect us from the Catholic Church, because you can bet guys like Father Hollas would just love to take our bibles away!

Church Law to Supersede US Law?

The March 2 East Valley/Scottsdale (Arizona) Tribune reported in an article titled, “Jury Decision Could Rest on Church Law:”

“A state grand jury may soon be asked to do what perhaps no other has before: consider religious law in deciding whether to charge someone with a crime. The case is that of Dennis Riccitelli, a former Roman Catholic priest charged in 2004 with fraud and stealing thousands of dollars from his Mesa church.”

“In the middle of last year, while the case was preparing for trial, a Maricopa County Superior Court judge decided those criminal charges were flawed - in part because prosecutors didn't tell the grand jury about the laws of the Roman Catholic Church, known as canon law.”

“Riccitelli's lawyers had argued the priest was acting within Catholic law when he supposedly used real estate and check-writing schemes to line his own pockets with about $160,000 of the church's money. Under canon law, a priest has the right to spend his church's money however he sees fit, his lawyers told the judge. So likely no matter how he used the church's money, he could not have run afoul of Arizona law.”

“After hearing the argument, Judge Silvia Arellano decided Riccitelli didn't get a fair shot with the grand jury. She threw out the case and told prosecutors to try again. If they wanted to make the charges against Riccitelli stick, she ruled, they'd have to tell the grand jurors about the Roman Catholic brand of law.”

“’Church law and policies are directly relevant in determining whether (the) defendant committed the crimes he is charged with,’ Arellano wrote. Arellano's decision appears to be unprecedented in the state. In no other case has a judge decided that religious law should be used to examine potential crimes, according to lawyers involved with the case and a national legal expert.”

Comment - Champagne corks must be popping in every diocesan office in the country!! The Roman Church has, along with other liberals, been agitating for US courts to look at laws outside of US law in making judicial decisions.

This is a frightening legal decision. If it sticks, look for Catholic lawyers in the future to quote this legal “precedent” set by Judge Senora Arellano. Where could this lead: Could a Moslem kill his wife and not be charged because Islamic law may allow it? Could Mormons go back to polygamy? Could priests have free reign in stealing money from churches?

Rome has always been the enemy of free, Protestant nations, and has incessantly worked for their destruction. Are you praying daily that God protect the United States from the Roman Catholic Church? If not, please start.

Another Priest Caught with Hands in the Till

“A former Roman Catholic priest was sentenced to 63 months in prison for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from two rural Virginia parishes. Rodney Rodis pleaded guilty to mail fraud and money laundering in October in the theft of more than $600,000 in donations from St. Jude Church and Church of the Immaculate Conception in Louisa County between 2002 and 2006.”

This was reported in a Feb 20 WTVR (Richmond, Virginia) article titled, “Former Priest Sentenced,” which went on to say:

“Rodis set up bank accounts and a post-office box, where he directed parishioners to send contributions. Rodis then transferred the money to his personal account, using it to support his family - a wife and three children, whom he concealed from parishioners. He also wired money overseas to relatives who used it to buy real estate.”

In 2006 when Rodis “retired” because of poor health, he held a special fundraiser to sucker his parishioners into giving him another $27,000 (on top of what he’d already stolen!) to help with his medical bills.

Rodis was finally caught after a parishioner asked for, but did not get, a tax-receipt for a $1,000 donation, and then contacted police.

Rodis told neighbors he was in the import-export business.

Let us thank God once again for publicly exposing the vile and corrupt nature of the Roman priesthood. Pray daily that God give Catholics the grace to flee their wicked priesthood, and to receive Christ by faith ALONE for the full and free forgiveness of sins – no Roman priests needed!

Don't Touch That Dial!!

If you have trouble with your TV, you can always ask the Catholic “Patron Saint” of television, St Clare of Assisi (1194-1253). She was “honored” this past week in a special Mass given by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, as he marked the 50th anniversary (Feb 14, 1958) of Pope Pius XII declaring her the patron of television.

In the Feb 18 Zenit News Agency article titled, “Cardinal: St Clare Can Guide TV Watchers,” Bertone said:

“St Clare is not only the patron of television, but she can also teach us the correct use of this media.”

Why did Pius XII choose her for this? Because, according to Rome, late in life when she was too ill to attend Mass, an image of the Mass being said was displayed on the wall of her cell, just like a TV screen would show.

Comment – Was this the first “Mass for Shut-Ins?” Was it in black-and-white, or living colour?

Hmmmm……this is interesting! What could we invoke her help on? Here are some examples:

1. If the remote is not working. This could save having to make lengthy customer service calls to India!

2. When the weather interrupts satellite reception.

3. Whether I should watch the basketball or hockey game. The list is endless……

Considering the quality of TV today, I must say St Clare has not done a good job the past 50 years! Maybe it’s because St Clare is a busy gal – she’s also the patron of goldsmiths, laundry workers, telephones, and television writers.

And - she’s also the patron saint of the telegraph. However, I doubt she’s had much work on this one, lately!

This whole Catholic “patron saint” system is nothing but the warmed-over pagan worship of many gods. May God give Catholics the grace to forsake this phony system, and to receive Christ by faith ALONE. Christ died to bring us to God; it’s a slap in the face to Christ to seek anyone but God in prayer.

Marriage Depends on the Nose??

The Catholic Church can get quite bizarre when trying to defend its positions. Such an example was seen in the Feb 7 Zenit News Agency article, “The Way to a Woman’s Heart is Through Her Nose.”

Picking up a theme from a recent article in Psychology Today (hardly a godly publication!), Catholic researcher Vicki Thorn tries to present the idea that contraceptive pills can affect the way women smell men, and therefore guide a woman to marry the wrong man! The article said:

“When a woman is on the pill, explained Thorn, her physical chemistry changes as the body is duped into thinking it is pregnant. As a result, the type of man she is attracted to is one with pheromones that are similar to her own, like her father's or her brother's. Her body, through her nose, is trying to help her to surround herself with protection, safety, familiarity.”

“On the other hand, Thorn continued, a woman not using chemical contraception, will be attracted to a man that has a different genetic make up than her own, or her family's, since mates that are genetically too similar can cause difficulties in conceiving, or affect the health of the children.”

Comment – So “the pill” causes a woman to like the smell of a guy who’s DNA may be too close to that of the woman – therefore affecting the health of their children. Hmmmm……I’ve never heard this one before.

And – the pill can further complicate a marriage:

“Problems arise when a woman goes off chemical contraception. Her body will return to a pre-pill chemistry, and she may have difficulty with what she perceives as a different scent of her husband. This may have something to do with why…one of the most common things women tell marriage counselors is, ‘I can’t stand his smell.’”

Let’s get to the truth here: The Catholic Church is not concerned about pre-marital sex, healthy children, or good marriages – the real reason Rome fights the pill is that the only way Catholicism can grow in numbers is through birth rates.

For example, this is why Rome is so supportive of illegal immigration into America, because the white Catholic population in the USA in 2008 is about the same as it was in 1965. The clergy can read the census numbers.

May Catholic singles and couples flee the church of Rome, and receive Christ by faith ALONE; that they would depend on Christ to guide them to the right spouse, and depend on Christ to strengthen marriages – and not depend on the way a woman’s nose is working on a particular day!

CSI: Cincinnati

One of the weird things about Catholicism is its fascination with dead body parts. So I found it strange when Cincinnati, Ohio Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk objected to a new exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center called, “Bodies…The Exhibition.” This was reported in the Jan 29 Cincinnati Enquirer article, “Archbishop Bans ‘Bodies’ Trips.”

“The 15,000-square-foot exhibit…is 20 human cadavers preserved by a process called polymer preservation and shown in various poses. The goal…is to show the inner workings of the human body. It includes about 200-250 preserved body parts, giving close-up views of the body's organs.” The bodies are from China, and were supposedly corpses never claimed by anyone.

Pilarczyk said, “I do not believe that this exhibit is an appropriate destination for field trips by our Catholic schools.”

The archbishop’s right hand man, Father Mike Seger said, “To treat the human body – any body – like ‘stuff’ is morally offensive and grisly. It reminds me of a carnival show of 100 years ago.”

Why are they complaining?? Rome has been the biggest dealer in body parts for centuries!!

1. Jan 22 in Catamarca, Argentina, the heart of Bishop Mamerto Esquiu (d. 1883) was stolen from a crystal urn in a local church.

2. In late 2006 the heart of St John Vianney (d. 1859) toured Long Island, New York, in a gold and velvet shrine.

3. I was recently in a lobby of a local Catholic high school, and there was a prominently displayed glass case (2’x3’) with about 20 different bones (knee, femur, parts of skull) from various saints.

4. This past December in Tucson, Arizona, bone fragments from the three wise men were on tour. The list is endless……

The Catholic use of dead body parts to get “nearer” to saints or God Himself – is pure evil. The only way for a Catholic to get nearer to God is to get further away from Rome!! I thank God for exposing the hypocrisy in the Catholic Church, and please pray daily for Catholic conversions.

Now They're Warning People About Him!

The blatant hypocrisy of the Catholic Church is yet again being exposed in the case of Monsignor Dale Fushek.

Fushek was an up and coming priest in the Phoenix, Arizona diocese. According to the Nov 24 East Valley/Scottsdale (Arizona) Tribune article, “Priest Indicted in Sex Case Opens Worship Center," Fushek has been:

“Indicted on seven misdemeanor charges of sex-related behavior with male teens…between 1984 and 1994” and,

“Faces one count of assault, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of indecent exposure. Teens complained that he carried on sexually explicit discussions with them during confession, exposed himself to them as he got into his hot tub and created a sexually charged setting with teens present.”

Since being placed on leave by the diocese, Fushek, through his “Life Teen” ministry, has started a “Praise and Worship Center” which resembles one of those post-evangelical churches – with the requisite rock-n-roll “worship” music along with an upbeat, non-threatening, watered-down bible message.

The problem is – hundreds of Catholics are attending this!! There have been several services since mid-November atttacting anywhere from 500-700 people.

Now - all of a sudden – the Diocese of Phoenix is concerned about Fushek!!

To quote from a Jan 14 Catholic News Service article titled, “Bishop Warns Catholics to Avoid Services Started by Life Teen Founder,” Fushek:

“Is drawing hundreds of participants a week, prompting a warning to Catholics from the bishop of Phoenix to stay away from the services and not to support the center.”

A Jan 3 statement from the diocese said:

“The diocese wishes to express its grave concern for Catholics who may be misled or confused by the actions of Dale Fushek and Mark Dippre.” (Dippre is a former associate pastor…who left public ministry in 2002 and later married.)

“It is important for the faithful to know that both priests are acting contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church and remain disobedient to directives of the bishop of Phoenix to whom they pledged obedience and respect…”

Question – Why wasn’t the diocese warning Catholics about Fushek from 1984-1994 when he was playing his games with boys and young men?

Answer – Because Catholic bishops really don’t care if priests are perverts and abuse children!

The diocesan statement also encouraged Catholics “To refrain from attending or supporting the Praise and Worship Center.”

May the Spirit of God keep exposing the evil system that Roman Catholicism is, and grant many Catholics repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Christ.

"Priest Charged With Lying About Mob Ties"

This was the title of a Jan 3 Pittsburgh Tribune-Review article about Scranton, Pennsylvania priest Joseph Sica who:

“Was arraigned…(Jan 2)…on a charge of lying to a grand jury about his alleged relationship with a deceased mob boss.”

Pennsylvania has been investigating the mob ties of long-time Sica friend Louis DeNaples, who was recently granted a gambling license by the state. Sica has gotten in hot water because he testified that he only once met deceased Mafia boss Russell Bufalino, whereas the truth is quite different.

Who was Russell Bufalino? A Jan 7 Philadelphia Inquirer article titled, “Questions Surround ‘People’s Priest’” described him as, “The most notorious mobster in Northeastern Pennsylvania,” and, “One of the most ruthless and powerful leaders of the Mafia.”

Catholic priests lie so much they forget that someone might dare expose their lies! To quote from the Tribune-Review article:

“The grand jury said evidence showed Sica had a ‘substantial relationship’ with Bufalino.”

“Bufalino attended a party to celebrate Sica’s ordination, and a photograph was taken of Sica with Bufalino and his wife.” In a note accompanying this photo, Sica wrote to Mr and Mrs Bufalino:

“Words cannot express my thankfulness to both of you. You have done a lot for me and mean a lot to me.”

“Another photo was presented to the grand jury showing Sica, Russell Bufalino and his nephew Angelo Bufalino, at a barbeque. In another picture, Sica was seated at a table with the Bufalino’s and Willian D’Elia, who allegedly heads the Bufalino crime family.”

In 1982, Sica even wrote a letter to the wife of then Gov. Dick Thornburgh on behalf of Bufalino after he was sentenced to prison! Sica wrote, “It is all a conspiracy against a man who has lived a life of honesty, generosity, justice, and belief in the American system.”

Hmmmm……And Catholics believe men like Father Sica have the power to command Christ to turn Himself into wafers and wine.

Why would a Catholic priest have such friends? One answer might be that in 1997 Sica had over $218,000 in debts and filed for bankruptcy. But in June of that year, the bankruptcy case was dismissed – with no one ever repaid, and none of the creditors objecting!!

Comment – Yeah……if guys with names like Rocky and Vito “made me an offer I couldn’t refuse,” I might drop some debt claims too!!

"Shock: $100K Gone, $1M Owed, Nudist Priest"

This was the title of a Dec 18 WXYZ-TV (Detroit, Michigan) article that went on to say:

“Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy charged Debra Ann Kilyanek, 54 of Garden City with Embezzlement over $100,000, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and/or $25,000, or 3 times the amount embezzled, whichever is greater and, Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or $20,000.”

“The Archdiocese of Detroit conducted an audit of the books at St Dunstan and uncovered a loss of $111,693....(and)...turned the matter over to the Garden City Police Department and the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for investigation. Beginning in October 2005 Ms. Kilyanek began charging her personal transactions to the St Dunstan Parish checking account. Most of these transactions were either phoned in or paid via the internet using the parish checking account information. Ms. Kilyanek allegedly used parish funds to pay her personal credit obligations.”

And, because Ms Kilyanek did not keep the books properly:

“The parish now owes in excess of $1,000,000 in taxes, interest and penalties to the federal government for unpaid taxes (payroll taxes, FICA and Medicare).”

Question - Where was the priest, Father Donald Demmer, when all this was happening? He was busy with other things:

“Records show that he made as many as 200 trips to casinos in Michigan, Nevada and Florida since 2000.”

“He has made numerous trips out of the state and the country to casinos and Caribbean resorts including Club Orient” (a nudist camp on the island of St Martin).

“Numerous subscription charges were made to companies providing pornographic internet services that appear on Father Demmer’s bank records.”

Demmer has not been charged with anything because, supposedly, he used funds donated to him personally from parishioners, not church funds.

How has the archdiocese disciplined Demmer? They put him on “medical leave” this past June!

So......what’s the reaction of the Catholic “faithful” to this? The Detroit Free Press Dec 18 article, “Prosecutor: St Dunstan Priest’s Conduct ‘Disturbing, not Criminal,’" reported:

“St. Dunstan parishioner Gregg Ward said he still hopes Demmer returns to the church. ‘We’re a church of forgiveness and redemption. I’m not sure what in the state of Michigan the definition of a gambling problem is.’”

“’There’s no reason to smear a person, other than the satisfaction to smear a Catholic priest,’ Ward said. ‘In the Catholic Church, we have Bingos, we have Vegas nights, there are priests that go to casinos. If people have given their money to him freely, it’s not with strings attached. We have three casinos in the city of Detroit.’”

Comment – He’s got to be kidding! But he’s not!! Would you want such a man to lead your church?

Catholics are not Christians. Are you praying daily for Catholic conversions? This episode only shows the rampant corruption in the Catholic Church, and how lost the heart of a Catholic can be.

A Special Offer from the Pope

The Dec 21 Pittsburgh Catholic, the newspaper of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, reported in an article titled, "Pope OKs Lourdes Indulgence:"

"To mark the 150th anniversary of Mary's appearance to St. Bernadette Soubirous near Lourdes, France, Pope Benedict XVI authorized a special indulgence to encourage renewed holiness. Catholics can receive a plenary indulgence for taking part in any public or private devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes..."

A "plenary indulgence" (which can only be granted by the pope) is the complete remission of all temporal punishment (both in this life and in purgatory) due to sin up until the time of the indulgence. However, it does nothing for any punishment due to sins committed by a Catholic after the indulgence is granted!

Just look at some of the pope-created rules Catholics will have to abide by to obtain the release from punishment this special indulgence is granting:

To start with - A "pilgrimage" to the Lourdes shrine in France has to take place between Dec 8, 2007 – Dec 8, 2008. As of Dec 9, 2008, the god of Rome will no longer have this special offer available.

AND – For the god of Rome to grant this indulgence, "pilgrims" must visit the following sites, preferably in this order:

1. The parish where St Bernadette was baptized. 2. The Soubirous family home. 3. The grotto (where Bernadette saw "Mary"). 4. The chapel where Bernadette received her first communion.

ALSO – "At each location the faithful should end their meditation by praying the Lord’s Prayer, the creed and the special jubilee prayer or a prayer to Mary."

Now......for those who don't have the money to go to France, they can get this indulgence by visiting any "holy place dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes in another part of the world Feb. 2-11 (and) pray the Lord's Prayer, the creed and the special jubilee prayer or a prayer to Mary."

The pope made it easier for rich people – he gives them a full year to get this indulgence (with a trip to France thrown in!), while poor people only have from Feb 2-11 to get to the nearest Lourdes shrine and go through these antics!

I wonder if the pope consulted with the French Board of Tourism before making this pronouncement?

Thankfully, the God of the bible is not at all the god presented by the Catholic Church. May the Spirit of God show many Catholics the sheer lunacy of the Roman Church and its man-made, zany rules! May God grant Catholics repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins – no popish indulgences needed!

Yet Another Title for Mary - "Mother Without Borders"

In its support for unlimited illegal immigration, the Catholic Church is giving Mary even more titles! This was reported in the Dec 5 Catholic News Service article, "Our Lady of Guadalupe Called 'Mother Without Borders' in Los Angeles."

In their worship of Mary, Catholics have already bestowed upon her lots of titles: Our Lady of Fatima - Joy of All Who Sorrow - Our Lady of Peace - White Lily of the Trinity and Vermillion Rose of Heaven - Our Lady of Graces – Un-tier of Knots…the list is endless!!

Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles came up with a new title for Mary this year – "Mother Without Borders" – as he celebrated the "Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe" this past Dec 2.

His Eminence said, "The Virgin of Guadalupe is a symbol of hope for all who are marginalized."

(Note – the "Virgin of Guadalupe" was supposedly an appearance of Mary to an Aztec peasant in 1531. The real story is – the Aztecs refused to become Catholics, so the Catholic Church took the Aztec worship of a goddess named Tonantzin, and turned it into worship for Mary.)

If I may re-phrase what His Eminence said, "The Virgin of Guadalupe is a symbol of the idolatry of Roman Catholicism."

Maybe we should title Roman Catholicism: "Mother of All Lies."

Rome is showing itself as an enemy of the United States by its support for unlimited illegal immigration. Please pray daily that God protect the USA from – the Roman Catholic Church and illegal immigration.

Catholic Church - Still in Denial

“A new comic book produced by the Archdiocese of New York aims to help middle school and high school students protect themselves from sexual predators and have the courage to report improper advances.” This was reported in the Dec 10 Catholic News Service article titled, “Coloring, Comic Books Aim to Protect Students from Sexual Abuse.”

So……you might think, “That’s good. They’re warning children to watch out for and report on pervert priests.” WRONG!!! The article continues:

“Called Archangel, the 28-page comic book tells the story of a young man -- once a victim of sexual abuse himself -- who learns at his new school that the father of one student is abusing some other young women at the school. In 'conversations' with a statue of St. Michael the Archangel at the school, the young man debates whether to report the abuse to school authorities.”

What?? This is amazing!! Only the Catholic Church could be so brazen as to print such a farce. The sexual predators preying on Catholic children have not been fathers of students molesting girl students. The predators have been priests molesting boys by the tens of thousands!!

The storyline of this “comic book” only shows that Rome is still in denial about the perverted nature of their priesthood. And, we must conclude that Rome is still not interested in protecting children from priests.

May the Spirit of God show Catholic children reading this “comic book” that their church is still more concerned in protecting the fairies and perverts in their priesthood, instead of children. May God help Catholics to repent of the sin of Catholicism, and to receive Christ by faith ALONE for eternal life, no Catholic priesthood needed!

Navy Priest Enters Guilty Plea in Sex Abuse Case

The following from the Dec 6 Washington Post article, “Chaplain Enters Guilty Plea in Sex Abuse Case” says it all:

“A Navy chaplain who is HIV-positive entered a guilty plea this morning to charges that he used his positions at the U.S. Naval Academy and Marine Corps Base Quantico to lure midshipmen and Marines into sex acts.”

“Lt. Cmdr. John Thomas Matthew Lee, 42, who is a Catholic priest, is facing a court-martial at Quantico on charges that stem from several alleged incidents from 2003 to 2007. The charges include consensual and forcible sodomy for allegedly having sex with several men; indecent acts for allegedly posing for nude photographs; aggravated assault for not informing an alleged victim of his HIV status; and conduct unbecoming an officer.”

“Lee fraternized with one midshipman over a two-year period after the student came to him for counseling and advice in 2004. Lee offered the underage midshipman alcohol, engaged in sex acts, asked him to take nude photographs of Lee and e-mailed him pornographic photos of naked men, according to the documents.”

“One source familiar with the case, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Lee would start conversations with the midshipmen and then invite them to his office, where he allegedly had them take nude pictures of him before he would initiate sex. A charge of forcible sodomy could result if Lee used his rank to have sex with subordinates.”

Hmmmm……and Catholics believe such men have the power to command Christ to turn Himself into wafers and wine! Oh – and to “forgive” sins, as well!

We thank God yet again for exposing the wickedness of the Roman priesthood. The Catholic heart is an unregenerate heart that must be freed from the sin of Rome. Is it a sin to be a Catholic? Absolutely yes!

"Priest Indicted in Sex Case Opens Worship Center"

Monsignor Dale Fushek of the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona, “Indicted on seven misdemeanor charges of sex-related behavior with male teens…between 1984 and 1994” and awaiting trial, is not idling his time away while on leave from the diocese. This was reported in the Nov 24 issue of the East Valley/Scottsdale (Arizona) Tribune, in an article titled, “Priest Indicted in Sex Case Opens Worship Center.”

Fushek has started something called the “Praise and Worship Center,” a ministry “Billed as non-denominational and intended to complement – not take the place of – people’s primary worship elsewhere.” The Nov 22 service at the Mesa Convention Center “Featured prayer, music, praise, and a message.” They meet next on Dec 23.

“Fushek, 55, faces one count of assault, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of indecent exposure. Teens complained that he carried on sexually explicit discussions with them during confession, exposed himself to them as he got into his hot tub and created a sexually charged setting with teens present.”

A spokesman for the diocese lamely said, “We have no control on what he (Fushek) does as a Catholic citizen.”

A web site called http://www.helpmonsignordale.com/, which solicits money for Fushek’s legal defense says:

“He misses the community that was removed from his life…he misses working with the youth (emphasis mine).”

Comment – I’ll bet “he misses working with the youth!!”

Fushek also used to be the diocesan vicar general – second in command in the diocese. He held this office under former Bishop Thomas O’Brien. The same Bishop O’Brien who in 2003 hit and killed a man with his car, and whose initial defense was that he thought he had hit a rock!

We thank God for again exposing the wicked nature of the Roman priesthood. Catholic Church - Still Blaming "Society"

Last year the US Conference of Catholic Bishops commissioned a $335,000 study from John Jay College, “Of the causes and contexts of the sexual abuse crisis in the church.” The study’s researchers updated the bishops last week at the bishops’ annual meeting. This was reported in The Catholic News Service Nov 14 article titled, “Abuse Study Expected to Reveal Insights About Societal Events.”

This study is a high-priced whitewash posing as scholarly “research,” and is trying to shift the blame for Catholic sex abuse to things such as “Societal Events,” instead of its true cause - the perverted nature of the Roman priesthood!

Comment – This has been a Catholic excuse since 2001. It goes something like: ‘Society and culture have really gotten bad the past 40-50 years, and it’s rubbed off on some people. Therefore the culture is to blame for sex abuse, not our poor priests or the Church!’

Let’s see what these so-called “researchers” are finding out about sex abuse in the Catholic Church. For example:

“Early research seems to indicate that the patterns of sexual abuse within the church are consistent with the experience of society as a whole.”

“General societal changes have had significant impact on the lives of those who are part of or closely associated with religious organizations.”

There it is again!! It’s the fault of “society as a whole” and “general societal changes.”

As the “studies” continue, the researchers will again report to the bishops at their 2008 annual meeting. I fully expect that report to point the blame in many directions – but not at the bishops or their priests!

Please keep praying daily for Catholic conversions, and that God “break the teeth” (Psalm 58:6) of this man-made religion that has protected child molesters for so many years!

Jumping on the Bandwagon

With the Catholic Church having been so thoroughly exposed as a haven and protector of child molesters and perverts, Roman clergy are now loudly proclaiming themselves as defenders of children whenever a story of sexual abuse appears in the media. That is – whenever the abuse was in a place other than the Catholic Church!!

Such blatant hypocrisy was seen in an article by Archbishop Harry Flynn of the Archdiocese of St Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the Nov 1 issue of The Catholic Spirit, the archdiocesan newspaper. The article was titled (and please don’t laugh):

“Let’s Work Together to Eradicate Child Abuse.”

Comment – He’s got to be kidding!! Where was His Grace on this issue five years ago?

Flynn was commenting on a recent AP story about sex abuse in public schools. Here are some examples of his laughable Catholic hypocrisy:

“We as a community, as a state, and as a nation must embrace this plague of sex abuse…and work for the long-haul to eradicate it from our homes, schools, community groups, and places of worship.”

“The Catholic Church must be concerned about all child-victims of sexual abuse, no matter where it occurs.”

“The Associated Press has done a huge service to the nation by undertaking and publishing this study on sexual misconduct in public schools.”

Comment – Can we really believe this guy?? Especially the line about the media doing a “huge service.” The Catholic Church hates the media for how it exposed them in the past several years!! A dictatorial institution like the Catholic Church cannot brook any criticism.

Flynn ended his article thusly:

“It is time for all of these well-intentioned people and groups to dedicate their time and resources on the deeply entrenched problem of sexual abuse in our public schools in this country.”

Comment – Flynn forgot something. What about parochial schools?

Rome has lately paid out a lot of money in lawsuits and gotten rid of a few priests, but most of the priestly perverts are still out there, they’re just being a little more careful now. The Roman priesthood and monastic system will continue to attract an inordinate amount of queers and fairies to its ranks.

May God continue to protect children from – the Roman Catholic Church.

Catholic "Retreat" - More Like Political Indoctrination!

The Catholic Church continues to prepare American Catholics for the Mexicanization of the USA. This was reported in the Nov 1 issue of The Catholic Sun, the newspaper of the Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona, in an article titled, “Young Americans, Mexicans, Experience Faith on the Border.”

The dioceses of Phoenix, Tucson, Arizona, and Hermosillo, Mexico, sent about 100 teenagers to a weekend retreat in Nogales, Mexico. The purpose? To help “Catholics from the United States and Mexico (to) get to know each other better.”

It was more political indoctrination than religious retreat, designed to brainwash young American Catholics into thinking there is nothing wrong with massive illegal immigration. Here are some “retreat” highlights:

1. They went to a border wall (on the Mexican side) and looked at graffiti, excuse me……murals depicting “artists renderings of hope and fear painted on the border barrier.”

2. Watched a movie called Dying to Live, a propaganda piece about “why immigrants leave their native land and the hardships suffered on the journey.”

3. Examined newspaper and magazine articles on the border and social divisions.

Question - What kind of a Catholic parent would put his kid through such a weekend?

Answer – A parent trying to kiss up to his local priest!

As is always the case with the Catholic Church – they never give you the full story. For example, I doubt the teenagers were told:

1. At least 4.5 million pounds of cocaine is smuggled across the US-Mexican border each year.

2. Illegal aliens are involved in criminal activities at a rate that is 2-5 times their representative proportion of the population.

3, Over 67% of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

The list is endless……

What am I Bid for "Jesus?"

About $2,000 at the St Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. This is according to an Oct 27 press release from the Archdiocese of Detroit titled, “Reward Offered for Return of Tabernacle and Contents.”

On Oct 24 the tabernacle and wafers inside were stolen from the church!

Like at any auction, St Andrews low-balled the initial bid. The article says:

“Initially, a reward of $500 was offered by the parish. That offer was supplemented by anonymous donors. The reward now stands at $2,000.”

Of the $2,000, the archdiocese did not say what the breakdown was between the cost of the tabernacle and the cost of “Jesus.”

My guess is that Rome values the tabernacle more because “Jesus” can be easily replaced at any time by a priest – all he has to do is find some wafers, say the magic words, and Voila! there’s more “Jesus.”

This is yet another example of the hellish notion that Jesus turns Himself into wafers at the command of a Roman priest. Only Rome could create a “god” that can be stolen and is subject to ransom!

In fact, the Christ of the bible is exactly the opposite of the “christ” of Rome. We do not ransom Him, He ransoms us! Matthew 20:28b says: “and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Papacy - Rewarding Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration has been very, very good for the Catholic Church in America. This was exposed last week as Galveston/Houston, Texas Archbishop Daniel DiNardo was named a cardinal by the pope. This was reported in the Oct 18 Catholic News Service article titled, “Texas Prelate Says His Elevation Recognized Church’s Growth in Region,” which boasted:

“It illustrates the Vatican’s recognition of the Church’s growth in the southern part of the United States.”

Comments:

1. Catholic priests aren’t stupid. What’s the best way to “grow” a diocese (not to mention advancing a career!)? Answer – through illegal immigration!

2. Amazingly, American Christians continue to mindlessly let themselves be distracted by George Bush and his so-called “war on terror” 10,000 miles away, while Bush & gang allow the southern USA to be turned into another Mexico.

3. American pastors remain mute as the USA is being invaded by the forces of antichrist.

Who lost the USA? American Christians will have no one to blame but themselves.

Puritans - An Example for Catholics??

“We need to recover the Puritan influence on our culture,” so said Dr Ramon Luzarraga in a recent speech to young adult Catholics. This was reported in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Ohio newspaper, The Catholic Telegraph, in an Oct 5 article titled, “Puritan Influence On Tap.”

Did he really mean this? I don’t think so.

Catholics are always looking to “influence” the culture, but I’m sure they are only interested in the political power the Puritans had in early America, not their theology!

Luzarraga had some nice things to say about the Puritans:

“Puritan ideals laid the foundation for democracy in the United States, and established much of the cultural core of our identity as Americans.”

“One unabashed plus of the Puritan legacy is how they left behind the tradition of volunteerism in this country.”

But……Luzarraga (as any good Catholic) could not give proper credit to the true and saving Christ of the bible that the Puritans were trusting in! Instead, he said:

“Their ideals and values derived primarily from their English nationality.”

Wrong!! “Their ideals and values derived primarily” from trusting in Christ alone for salvation, and basing their lives on the bible, not papal pronouncements, eating wafers, or fables from the lives of saints.

What did the Puritans say about Catholicism? Let’s take a look at a few quotes from a 1663 published sermon by Thomas Watson titled, “Mr Watson’s Sermon Against Popery:”

“Idolatry doth bud and blossom in the Popish Religion. It should be the earnest prayer and endeavour of every good Christian that none of those poisonous streams that flow from the See of Rome may ever infest this British Isle.”

“It is a cruel religion, it is maintained by blood and cruelty. The Pope will have St Paul’s sword as well as St Peter’s keys; and what he cannot maintain by dint and force of argument, that he will endeavour to maintain by force of arms. In a word, the Popish Church is a Purple Whore, dyed with the blood of saints and matyrs.”

“The Mass, which is indeed gross idolatry.”

“There is, they say, a middle and infernal place, called Purgatory. Now what is this but a subtle artifice and trick to get money?”

“The Popish Religion is an impure, filthy religion, they allow of stews (stew – a public hot bath frequented by homosexuals) and brothel-houses for money.”

Sorry, Dr Lazarraga, but the Puritans saw Rome for what it is – antichrist!

May God free many Catholics from Rome, and bless them with the same saving faith He so abundantly bestowed upon the Puritans! As Watson ended his sermon, “Hold fast and hold forth the Protestant Religion and adorn it with a Holy and Bible-conversation.”

“Former St Joseph (Catholic) Academy bookkeeper Colleen Kempf will serve four years in prison for stealing about $500,000 from the school she and her daughters attended.” This was reported in the Oct 3 Cleveland, Ohio Plain Dealer, in an article titled, “St Joseph Academy Ex-Bookkeeper Colleen Kempf Gets Four-Year Term for Thefts.”

Since the sex-abuse scandal broke six years ago, people aren’t trusting the Catholic Church and its organizations as they used to. Increased financial audits of Catholic institutions are uncovering all sorts of thefts, corruption, and kickbacks.

Comment – We can only wonder how much money has been stolen over the past decades by insiders of Catholic institutions!

The judge, “Ordered her to repay $445,000 she skimmed over six years from various accounts at the Catholic high school for girls…After her release, she’ll be on probation for five years or until she makes full restitution to the school’s insurance company.”

“But Kempf never seemed sorry for what she did, (the) school president…told the judge…’I hope you consider her lack of remorse and her unwillingness to re-pay what she’s taken.’”

Kempf’s defense? She blamed her actions on her “untreated bipolar disorder.”

Comment – That’s a laugh!! With a half million bucks she could have gotten all the treatment she needed!

Another comment – If she had been a priest, she would have been well protected. But, the Roman clergy has no problem in throwing the laity to the dogs, especially where money is concerned!

Please keep praying that God expose the wickedness of Rome for all to see, and that many Catholics be granted the grace to forsake Catholicism, confess it as sin, and receive Christ by faith ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

A "Model" for 'Catholics'

“’Despite challenges she faced in her prayer life, Blessed Theresa of Calcutta is a model for all Christians,’ Auxiliary Bishop John Quinn said at St Gabriel Church, Detroit, Sept 5.” This was reported in the Sept 14 Michigan Catholic, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit, in an article titled, “Blessed Theresa Called Model for Christians.”

The Catholic Church is always seeking to point people away from Christ, so Rome is famous for invoking Mary and various saints as “models” for the Catholic. And of course today, “Mother Theresa” (real name Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, born in Albania, 1910) is a well-known and politically correct “model.”

But, let’s take a look at a few of the Christ-denying things “Mother” said over the years:

1. On not trying to convert people to Christ: “If in coming face to face with God we accept Him in our lives, then we are converting. We become a better Hindu, a better Muslim, a better Catholic, a better whatever we are…What God is in your mind you must accept.”

2. Speaking to the United Nations in October, 1985: “We gather to thank God for the 40 years of the beautiful work of the United Nations for the good of the people. No color, no religion, no nationality should come between us – we are all children of God.”

3. From a 1989 Time magazine article: “I love all religions…if people become better Hindus, better Muslims, better Buddhists by your acts of love, then there is something else growing there.”

Jesus said in John 15:19a: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own.”

The world loved Mother Theresa because she was of the world, not of Christ. I’m not surprised Rome is using her as a “model for all Christians (read – Catholics).” She was just another cog in this “all religions are the same” machine.

The next time a misinformed person starts praising “Mother” as an example of a “saved” Catholic, remind them of what “Mother” believed. May the Spirit of God point Catholics away from Rome, and to the “better” and only Saviour – Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life – no pope, Vishnu, Buddha, or Mohammed needed!

Another Hand in the Catholic Till

Janice Labroski, former business manager of St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Hazel Park (Detroit), Michigan, plead guilty on Sept 11 to a charge of embezzling $78,000 from the parish. This was reported in a Sept 13 article in The Daily Tribune titled, “No Jail Time in Plea Deal Angers Prosecutor.”

The article said Labroski:

“Agreed to the plea…contingent on her receiving no jail time. The agreement, which is determined by the judge and the defendant’s legal representative, calls for her to pay the church $30,000 at her Oct 16 sentencing…and the remaining restitution while on probation.”

Prosecutor Jason Pernick didn’t like the deal, but the defense attorney argued that if Labroski went to jail, she couldn’t pay back the stolen money.

Pernick said:

“She essentially stole money out of the poor box. I will monitor her along with the probation department. If she doesn’t repay I will bring her back and urge the judge to send her to jail.”

Had the case gone to trial, Labroski could have faced up to 10 years in prison.

I thank God for once again publicly exposing the corrupt nature of the Catholic Church. However, in a way it’s sad that God has to use the secular media for this, since the vast majority of Protestant pastors refuse to warn Christians about the evil nature of Roman Catholicism.

John Paul II Clothing Now Available

It’s about time for Rome to start making some money off ole “JP II” (John Paul II). This was reported in the Sep 13 Zenit News Agency article titled, “Vicariate of Rome Accepting Requests.” The article says it all:

“People who want to receive a relic ‘ex indumentis’ -- from the clothing -- or a holy card of Pope John Paul II, may do so by writing to the Vicariate of Rome.”

Comment – So……someone at the Vatican has been sitting around cutting up pieces of JP II’s clothing for future distribution. Is this insane, or what?

Another comment - And, I suppose it will be a little more time before they start selling some of his relics ‘ex somes’ – from the body! If I was a Catholic, I’d be careful – rumour has it that extra chicken bones are already being stashed away at the Vatican cafeteria!

The article goes on:

”The Vicariate of Rome is accepting requests via mail, fax or e-mail for the religious items. The petition should be sent to ‘Holy Cards and Relics Service,’ and should indicate a shipping address.”

”The holy cards contain the prayer to obtain graces through the intercession of the Servant of God John Paul II and can be requested in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Portuguese.”

”Though the vicariate is not charging for the holy card, donations are accepted to cover the printing and mailing expenses.”

Did you notice - “the vicariate is not charging for the holy card?” Ahhhh……but what about the relics? You can bet Rome isn’t going to give away those JP II treasures for free!

The Catholic use of dead body parts, bits of clothing, or holy cards to help contact a dead person is straight from the pits of hell. Roman Bishop is "Shocked"

Anton Zgoznik, former accountant for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio is presently on trial for being involved with kickback schemes. The former chief financial officer of the diocese, Joseph Smith, will go on trial later this year.

Also under investigation is former Cleveland Bishop Anthony Pilla who conveniently retired shortly after all this came out in 2004.

Pilla had to testify in court last week at the Zgoznik trail. When asked by the US attorney to his reaction in 2004 when this kickback scheme was made public, Pilla said he was:

“Shocked. Shocked. I had complete trust in Mr Smith.” (The Plain Dealer, Aug 30, 2007, “Former Bishop Pilla Testifies in Kickback Trial.”)

Comment – I had to laugh when I read this!! It reminded me the movie Casablanca, and the French Captain Louis Renault (played by actor Claude Rains) who, when he had to find a phony reason to shut down Rick’s café piously exclaimed:

“I’m shocked, shocked to find that there is gambling going on here!”

Yeah, Pilla was probably as “shocked” as Captain Renault!

Actually, Captain Renault had a few other lines in the movie that would fit Tony Pilla (or any Catholic bishop) perfectly:

1. “I have no convictions, if that’s what you mean. I blow with the wind.”

2. “I’m only a poor, corrupt official.”

A New Catholic "Tradition"

In what is fast becoming a new Catholic “tradition,” the US Conference of Catholic Bishops are again using the USA Labor Day holiday to promote their desire for unlimited illegal immigration. This was seen in the Aug 24 bishops’ letter titled, “Labor Day 2007: A Time to Remember, A Time to Recommit.”

Instead of talking about the three million, good-paying manufacturing jobs lost under George Bush, or that the median income for US households under age 65 is now 2% lower than in 2001, the bishops seem only concerned about Mexican workers, not American workers.

The US bishops’ point man in this drive to turn the USA into another banana republic is Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio of Brooklyn, NY. Here are few things he said:

1. “There are some 2 million undocumented people among us, most of whom are workers.”

Comment – DiMarzio is a liar. It’s more like 12-20 million illegals.

2. “US policy must help overcome the pervasive poverty and deprivation, the violence and oppression that push people to leave their lands.”

Comment – After 500 years of Catholic rule in Latin America, DiMarzio admits that it produced “poverty…deprivation…violence and oppression.” And now him and his Catholic Church want to export this to the USA. No thanks!

3. “Policies on debt and development, foreign aid and global trade are essential elements of any effective immigration reform.”

Comment – This is by now the Catholic stock-in-trade answer for “solving” illegal immigration – that it’s up to the USA to go in and fix the economies of Latin American countries.

Oh……and here’s one illegal immigration fact DiMarzio conveniently neglected to mention – 10% of those now in Virginia jails (and Virginia is hardly a “border state”) are now illegal aliens.

Question - How much does the heart of Catholicism hate a Protestant, prosperous, and open-bible USA?

Answer – Enough to want to turn it into another Mexico.

Roman Mass and American Indian Spiritism - A Deadly Blend

The animist spiritism and witchcraft of American Indians was added to the already abominable Roman Mass this past summer at St. Andrew Church in Portland, Oregon. This was reported in the Aug 10 Catholic News Service article, “Mass Highlights Traditions, Culture of Catholic American Indians.”

God warns His people in the bible to not adapt pagan rituals. Deuteronomy 12:30b-31a says:

“And that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? Even so I will do likewise.’ Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God; for every abomination to the LORD, which He hateth, have they done unto their gods.”

Comment - Catholics are not God’s people, so we should not be surprised when they borrow pagan practices from anywhere in the world.

This Mass included:

1. A “smoke blessing.” As herbs, roots, or bark is burned, the resulting smoke supposedly shows evidence of the “spirit” that was bound up within the plant.

2. The Lakota (or Sioux for the politically incorrect) song “Tate Topa Olowan,” or “Four Directions” was sung. This included references to welcoming the eagle spirit, the coyote spirit, the bear spirit, as well as touching the ground and welcoming the energy of “Mother Earth.”

3. An incessant Indian drumbeat that “symbolizes a rhythmic heartbeat that connects everything – animals, trees, humans – to collectively make them ‘in tune’ with creation.”

This stuff is evil! Some people claim Catholics are “Christians.” Some people are wrong!

Romanism once again demonstrates its inherently wicked nature by this consorting with American Indian spiritism. Pray for Reformation anew; that God open the eyes of Christians to the danger we face in – Roman Catholicism.

"Proper Sacramental Form"

What if a Catholic priest mixes up his words of “consecration” during the Mass – will the “Jesus” of Rome still turn himself into wafers and wine? This is what the Catholic Zenit News Agency July 3 article titled, “When Words Over the Host are Repeated,” tried to answer.

Recently, a priest at Mass accidentally repeated the words of consecration for the wafer, “this is my body,” over again when he held up the chalice full of wine!

According to Rome, “Jesus” did not turn himself into wine for what is called “lack of proper sacramental form.” Thus, the Mass was invalid because a “valid Mass” requires both wafers and wine to be turned into “Jesus.” (God forbid!)

(And, I suppose it must work the other way. If a priest says, “this is my blood” over the wafers, or somehow doesn’t get the words right, “Jesus” won’t turn himself into wafers, either!)

What’s a confused priest to do? The article said:

“The priest, as soon as he has realized his mistake, should then recite the proper formula (emphasis mine).”

So……the “Jesus” of Rome won’t turn himself into wafers or wine unless a formula is recited properly! Recited formulas? It sounds like something out of a Harry Potter movie.

The Mass is an abomination in the eyes of God. The real Jesus of the bible has no use for words magically and mindlessly regurgitated week by week by week by week……out of a Catholic Missal. Pray that God grants many conversions out of Rome and into faith ALONE in Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

How do You Say - "Apostate" - in Spanish?

Ask the Argentine so-called “evangelist” Luis Palau.

The latest example of his apostasy will be seen July 14-15 in Omaha, Nebraska. This was reported in the June 8 issue of The Catholic Voice, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Omaha, in an article titled, “Luis Palau’s Christian Festival to Have Catholic Elements.”

The Roman clergy know that the true gospel will bring people out of the sin of Catholicism – therefore they are immersing themselves into Palau’s latest event – with the blessing of Palau! For example:

“They (Palau’s staff) said they would do whatever they needed to do in order to formulate this festival in such a way as Catholics could participate.”

“Festival planners have welcomed the idea of allowing local archdiocesan priests to hear confessions at the event.”

Why will Rome be so active? The article continued:

“Although local Catholic leaders are supporting the festival, they do have some concerns about Catholics who might attend, specifically Hispanic Catholics…’We really need to be a part of this festival…to make sure that the large number of Hispanic Catholics, who for sure will show up, are brought back to their faith – the Catholic faith.’”

According to the two priests most involved with this event:

“Neither said he is worried that Palau will try to convert people.”

Comment – Palau is even worse than that apostate of apostates, Billy Graham! Not even Graham allowed confessions to be held at his events!

But, Palau does have a sense of humour. His own website quotes him as saying, “A nation will not be moved by timid methods.” (He must have been joking!)

With his cringing before the Catholic Church, Palau has re-defined what “timidity” is all about.

A gospel that does not worry Rome is no gospel at all. How do you say “apostate” in Spanish? “Apostata.”

How "Courageous" Can a Catholic Priest Be?

One answer was provided in the June 12 Catholic Zenit News Agency article titled, “When a Host Isn’t Swallowed.”

The false teaching that Jesus turns Himself into wafers at the command of a Catholic priest, and then people eat Him, leads to some strange predicaments! The article tries to answer the question:

“How should one dispose of a consecrated host (wafer) which was placed in the mouth of an ill person who, in the end, was unable to swallow it?”

One answer was:

“Some courageous ministers might be willing to consume such a host themselves out of respect, but this is usually not advisable and is unnecessary.”

Yeeeeeeeeeech!!

Well……for priests not so “courageous,” there is another option:

“A host which has been partially consumed in some way may be disposed of by placing it in water until it has dissolved, and then pouring the water into the sacrarium or into the ground.”

Hmmmm……according to Rome, “Jesus” dissolves in water. Only a mind bent on rejecting the true Christ of the bible would believe such a notion! I wonder how much of the wafer has to dissolve before “Jesus” says, “I’m getting out of this thing.”

'Vibrant' Downsizing

Question - What does the Cleveland, Ohio Roman Catholic Diocese call its plan to shut down anywhere from 23 to 48 of its 231 churches?

Answer – It’s part of their Vibrant Parish Life program!

Big-city Roman dioceses, like Cleveland, have seen this coming for years as Catholics have moved out to the suburbs, thus sticking the diocese with many inner-city churches that are empty and not bringing in the money!

The Vibrant Parish Life program is nothing but a Catholic propaganda effort to make a good “spin” out of a bad situation. Their latest buzzword is clustering – where the remaining Catholic churches will share priests and resources all under the banner of such phrases as:

“A vibrant parish reaches out to the world around it…A vibrant parish is a caring and welcoming community of faith…Parishes will need to have coordinated outreach ministries…”

You get the idea.

The biggest joke in the whole Vibrant Parish Life program is the now unmentioned and abandoned Church in the City program announced in 1994. This was supposed to “twin” a suburban parish with an inner-city parish so that, in the spirit of “diversity” and “multiculturalism,” each could experience the “gifts” of the other! But the clergy discovered that suburban Catholics wanted nothing to do with the “gifts” of the inner city!!

Church in the City went over like a lead balloon.

Is it Vibrant Parish Life? Hardly. It’s more like corporate downsizing with a forced smile. Please pray that God continue to expose the phony nature of the Catholic Church, and that many Catholics be graciously granted repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

$100,000 Wasted

The Rapid City, South Dakota Catholic Diocese “Has been awarded $100,000 in grant funding to promote excellence in preaching.” This was reported in the May 31 Catholic News Service article titled, “Rapid City Diocese Awarded $100,000 Grant to Promote Better Preaching.”

“The funding was provided by a private foundation that wishes to remain anonymous.”

Comment – I wonder if some Catholic out there was soooooooo bored……zzzzzzzzzzzz……by his priest’s preaching……zzzzzzzzzzzz……that he thinks a $100,000 grant can solve this problem?

“The purpose of the project is to assist clergy and laity in more effectively preaching and listening (emphasis mine) to the word of God.”

Comment – “Listening.” My guess is that in a few years, when Catholics are still as bored as ever at the “homilies” of priests, the clergy will blame the laity for not “listening” properly!

Why is Catholic preaching so lame? Rapid City Bishop Blase Cupich inadvertently gave the answer:

“Good preaching begins with a sound knowledge of scripture and includes reflection on the church’s tradition down through the centuries.”

Mixing the bible with Catholic “tradition down through the centuries” is sure to doom any preaching!! 1 Corinthians 5:6b says, “Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?”

Satan knows full well that the errors of Catholic “tradition” will lead people astray from the truth of the bible. And it doesn’t take much error – my can of Raid Ant and Roach Killer is only .2% poison – but it’s deadly!

Please pray daily that the Spirit of God lead Catholics out of Rome, and into good, bible-based Protestant churches where the bible is taught purely, accurately, and in the power of the Holy Spirit – no man-made “traditions” added!

Roman Bishop - A Self-Serving Criminal

“Roman Catholic parishioners who saw the Spokane (Washington) Diocese fall into bankruptcy because of sex abuse cases against their clergymen are now being asked to help pay molestation victims and bail out the diocese.”

This was reported in a May 18 Boston Globe article titled, “Some Wash. Parishes Asked to Raise $10M for Abuse Victims.”

The diocese is liable for $48 million in sex abuse damages, but insurance won’t cover it all. So, Catholic charities and children’s homes will raise $6.5 million, and diocesan parishes are being asked by Bishop William Skylstad to raise $10 million more above normal contributions to cover the balance.

When it comes to dogma and control of the Catholic Church, the pope along his bishops and priests have all the say-so; the laity is nothing. BUT – when it comes to coughing up money to pay for the sexual antics of priests with children, all of a sudden it’s “WE.” As Bishop Skylstad wrote in a letter to those asking for his resignation:

“WE (emphasis mine) are the perpetrators of the abuse. That ‘WE’ is the perceived community of bishops, priests AND LAITY…You may not like being in that ‘WE,’ but that is the way it is.”

This comment is interesting – because Bishop Skylstad’s reaction is that of a self-serving criminal when caught in the act!! He tries to blame as many others as possible to deflect attention away from himself! I can picture him on a TV police drama – being interrogated, crumbling under the pressure, and then bargaining for the best deal he can get before testifying against others.

In a way, he’s right. Catholics have always turned a blind eye to their pervert priests. Question - When was the last time you heard about a Catholic parent who went up to a priest and kicked him in the teeth for abusing his child? Answer – You haven’t. This demonstrates how blind Catholics are to the wickedness in their priesthood and church.

As God continues to expose the wickedness of Roman Catholicism, please pray fervently that by His blessed, electing grace He brings more Catholics out of Rome and into saving faith in Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Protecting Rome's Real "Rock" - Money!

Catholic dioceses around the USA continue to legally re-vamp themselves in order to protect diocesan assets. One such example was reported in the May 11 issue of the Pittsburgh Catholic, the newspaper of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in an article titled, “High Schools to be Aided Through Incorporation.”

Comment – Let’s face it, we know the Catholic Church will not get rid of the perverts in its priesthood, so instead Rome is focusing on worldly legal methods to limit any future lawsuit damages.

In this particular instance, it concerns the, “Restructuring (of) its seven diocesan high schools and one parish high school to clarify and improve their legal structures.”

“Diocesan schools have been operating under the direct fiscal and administrative control of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and…diocesan auspices. In September, the schools will be incorporated as individual Pennsylvania non-profit corporations. They will no longer be legal entities owned and operated by the Diocese of Pittsburgh.”

Comment - I’ll bet the diocese is breathing a big sigh of financial relief! Now if a priest plays hanky-panky with a girl or boy, only the high school, and not the whole diocese, will be financially liable.

Naturally of course, the diocesan spin machine is not touting it this way. Diocesan propaganda point man Father Kris Stubna described the changes:

“This is a good development for our schools. The changes in structure are being made to strengthen the overall operation of our schools and make for a solid future for generations to come.”

Father Stubna is liar! These “changes in structure are being made” to protect finances of the diocesan office, not out of any concern for children and their education.

If the Pittsburgh Catholic was honest (which it is not), the article title should have read:

“Diocesan Finances to be Aided Through Incorporation.”

May God give Catholics the grace to see that Rome’s rock is not Christ, but money. Please pray daily for Catholic conversions.

Rome - Still In Control, But Not Financially Liable

The Spokane, Washington Roman Catholic Diocese has, under court bankruptcy proceedings, re-organized the incorporation of its individual churches so that in the future, the diocese won’t have to pay for pervert priests who molest children. This was reported in the May 3 issue of the diocesan newspaper, the Inland Register, in an article titled, “Who Owns Parish Property? The Parish Does.”

Under the new incorporation, each parish will be run by a Board of Directors – the parish priest, the chair of the parish finance council, and another priest from the diocesan “Priests Council.”

Comment – This is so phony! The bishop will select the parish priest and other priest from the “Priests Council,” while the “chair of the parish finance council” is usually a toady of the parish priest.

The article piously states:

“It is important to note that the parish owns its own property. The bishop does not own it, the pastor does not own it, and the parishioners do not own it. The parish owns the property.”

Comment – So then, who or what is the “parish?” Take out the local priest and the people, and who is left? I don’t get!

I’m not a lawyer, but it looks like Catholic lawyers have been able to create an empty legal entity called a “parish.” If in the future a “parish” is being sued, the bishop, priests, and “laity” will all be able to say, “Don’t bother me, I don’t own it.” It’s sad that the federal bankruptcy judge is letting Rome get away with this!

In sum, the bishop and priests will still run the churches, but now will not have the financial obligations they used to. If the Spokane diocese was honest (which it is not), the article title should have read:

“Who Controls the Parish? The Bishop Still Does – But He Won’t Get Stuck Paying the Bills!”

Please continue to pray, no matter how many legal shenanigans Rome pulls, that Christ bring more Catholics out of Rome and into eternal life that is found by faith in Christ ALONE.

Do You Like Rice and Beans?

You’d better if the Catholic Church has its way regarding illegal immigration. This was reported in the April 27 Tidings, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, in an article titled, “Cardinal Mahony Honored in El Paso for Immigration Advocacy.”

Mahony was in El Paso, Texas to receive the “Voice of the Voiceless” award from the Catholic-sponsored ‘Annunciation House,’ a safe-house for illegal aliens. Mahony’s award was given to him:

“At what was billed as a ‘solidarity meal’ of rice and beans…at Santa Lucia Church.”

His eminence also claimed:

“He is one of a growing number of immigration advocates across the country who are empowered by the Holy Spirit.”

Question - What is the Catholic vision for the USA, as supposedly led by the “Spirit?”

Answer – A Mexicanized, Catholic nation where we get to eat rice and beans each day! (And it won’t smell too good, either.)

Follow the Money

Roman Catholic dioceses continue to hide their money from sex abuse victims. An April 11 Associated Press article, “Calif. Diocese Threatened With Contempt,” reported:

“Six weeks after seeking bankruptcy protection, lawyers for the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego are accused of moving to improperly transfer funds to parishes to shield assets from any potential settlements with victims of clergy sexual abuse.”

Diocesan lawyers, “Appear to have conspired with parishes to create new bank accounts separate from the diocese. The judge wrote that the (diocesan) attorneys appeared to have misrepresented facts and may have violated court orders and bankruptcy laws.”

The judge, “Cited a March 29 letter sent by a diocese parish organization to pastors urging them to get new taxpayer identification numbers and transfer funds to new accounts.”

“The judge said any post-bankruptcy transfers between the diocese and parishes outside of normal cash operations violate her ruling against shifting the diocese’s assets while the bankruptcy case is pending.”

Believe it or not, the 98 parishes in the diocese have 770 different bank accounts, but all were under the one diocesan taxpayer ID number! Commenting on this byzantine accounting system, the judge said, “I’ve had billion-dollar corporations in this court without this kind of accounting.”

Catholic lawyers tried the argument that the diocese had “no access or control” over the 770 bank accounts, even though they all use the same diocesan taxpayer ID number! Thankfully, the judge did not buy this Catholic lie.

As for the opening of new bank accounts, the diocesan lawyers explained this one away saying they thought the judge told them it was okay to open new accounts. Another Catholic lie!

What’s the problem with Catholics?? They believe their lies so much that they’re astounded when other people do not believe their lies!

Pray the Spirit of God convicts Catholics of the sin of Catholicism. May many be graciously blessed with repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins.

"A Serious Challenge from Fundamentalists"

A consequence of the unlimited illegal immigration the Catholic Church supports has been the sharp, disproportionate (and embarrassing!) rise in hispanic inmates in US jails and prisons.

Here are some facts about the “migrant” that Rome conveniently neglects to mention about illegal immigration:

95 % of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

73% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

More than 70% of all cars stolen in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California are stolen by illegal aliens.

The list goes on…………

Another consequence of all these hispanics in prison is that they hear the bible preached for the first time, and some receive a true and saving faith in Christ ALONE!

The last thing the Catholic Church wants is anyone having a born again faith in Christ, so Rome is fighting back. As usual, Rome cloaks its fight against the gospel under a Christian veneer – in this case, it’s a “prison ministry” called Dismas Ministry.

Dismas is supposedly the name of the thief on the cross who believed in Jesus. Even the name of this ministry gives them away as being unbiblical, as the name "Dismas" is nowhere found in the bible.

In a Sep 17, 2004 article in the National Catholic Reporter titled, “Dismas Brings Bibles, Faith Study to Catholics Behind Bars,” the Dismas founder clearly stated his anti-gospel agenda:

“They (Catholics) encounter a serious challenge from fundamentalists behind bars. It’s important for inmates to have the tools to stand up to the challenges from other inmates and from volunteer ministers coming in.”

Dismas also tries to get as many Catholic bibles with “notes and comments” into prisons because -- God forbid! -- Protestant bibles don’t have any “notes,” just the pure word of God!

Please pray for those in prison as Hebrews 13:2a commands: “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them.” May God be glorified in bringing more Catholics in prison out of Rome and into faith ALONE in Christ, no matter how much deceptive trash groups like ‘Dismas’ pump into the prisons!

Paying Off Catholic Predators - "It's Really Disgusting"

The Cleveland, Ohio March 31 Plain Dealer, in a story titled, “Diocese Aided Ousted Worker’s Family” reported:

“Years after church deacon Jerry Bals was accused of molesting teenage girls, the Cleveland Catholic Diocese began sending money to his home. The diocese said it paid $800 a month to Bals' wife to help raise her children.”

“The revelation outraged two of six women who sued the diocese and Bals in 1994. The lawsuit was resolved with a confidential settlement, said (name withheld), who told police Bals repeatedly groped her between 1972 and 1974.”

“’Jerry was in the home at the time, so it's like they were paying him, taking care of him,’ (she) said. ‘It's another example of how the Church is taking care of the clergy but not taking care of the people. It's really disgusting.’”

The payments went from 2000-2003 and totaled $27,200. Bals and his wife divorced in 2004; they owned two homes and a condo, so they weren’t destitute.

A diocesan attorney, attempting to explain these payments, piously said:

“One of the missions of any religious organization, including the Catholic Church, is to assist persons in need.”

The reaction of victims to this?

“’It's like the Church just kept paying him,’ (she) said. ‘They didn't pay his salary, so they just put it through (his wife).’”

“Another woman who accused Bals of molesting her…called the payments, ‘Just one more slap in the face. What about helping all of us plaintiffs at that time? So (Bals) was able to go back to the diocese and get money from them.’”

Once again, the true face of Rome is revealed! The Roman Church is nothing but a hierarchical corporation designed to protect itself and its loyal clergy – the average Catholic is nothing but a pawn used to further the power of Rome.

A Worldy Speaker for a Worldly Church

Money and fame, rather than holiness and Christian living, appear to have been the reasons for choosing speakers to address the Worcester, Massachusetts 7th Annual Diocesan Men’s Conference. This was seen in the March 30 diocesan newspaper, The Catholic Free Press, in an article titled, “Speakers Inspire.”

The featured speaker was Tom Brady Sr., father of the three-time Super Bowl winning quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady. The article said:

“Brady, 62, did not speak specifically about the well-publicized news that son Tom and his former girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynihan, are expecting a child outside of marriage. But Brady did note that this isn’t the first time this has happened in his family. ‘When it comes to grandchildren being born outside of wedlock, we’re three for three,’ he said.”

Trying to put the best face on a bad situation, Mr Brady then said that at least abortion was not considered regarding these three illegitimate births.

He then went on boasting about “the resources of our Catholic faith,” “the power of the Mass,” “love of the sacraments,” ad nauseam.

Hmmmm……It seems all this Catholic hocus-pocus didn’t help teach his four children about the sanctity of marriage! And, this is a man the Worcester Diocese thought appropriate to give advice to Catholic men??

Rome Has it Backwards -- Again!

The Catholic Church takes an especial delight in perverting bible truth. One such example is seen each “Lenten” season, as this is the time of year the “Church” receives into its fold those adults who knowingly consent to become Catholics.

The Romish service performed to bring in these new Catholics is called the “Rite of Election.” And – they are called the “Elect.” Their names are even written into a Catholic “Book of the Elect.”

These people are Elect? Nothing could be further from the truth!!

The truth is – those who are God’s Elect flee from the Catholic Church – exactly the opposite of what Rome says! The only thing anyone proves by joining the Catholic Church is that he is NOT among the Elect.

So......what is biblical election? It is the act of God by which, before the foundation of the world, He chose in Christ those whom He graciously regenerates, saves, and sanctifies (Eph 1:4-11, Rom 8:28-33, 2 Thess 2:13, 2 Tim 2:10, 1 Pet 1:1-10).

Jesus said in John 10:27: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

Please continue to pray that God bring His Elect out of the sin of Catholicism, and into saving faith in Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

How do You Like Your Muskrat?

It’s “Lent,” so Catholics have to abstain from meat on Fridays, right? Not in southeast Michigan according to the March 9 Michigan Catholic, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit, in an article titled, “Muskrat Love? It’s a Lent Thing for Downriver Area.”

As usual, Catholics can break their rules anytime they want! There is a local “tradition” from the 1700’s, when French trappers and traders in what is now southeast Michigan were allowed by their priests to eat muskrat in place of fish during Lent.

Comment – The Great Lakes and rivers of back then were teeming with fish! My guess is the trappers and traders were too lazy to fish, so the priests gave them a free pass.

“Although there is no documentation of the original dispensation,” the archdiocese allows the eating of muskrat during Lent because “there is long-standing permission – dating back to our missionary origins in the 1700’s.”

The article featured one church that has muskrat dinners, and described various ways in which muskrat can be prepared. One priest said he preferred his muskrat marinated in a secret recipe based on a French liqueur! Another local connoisseur said he likes it sautéed in butter and garlic.

Catholic Canon Law says:

Canon 1251: “Abstinence from eating meat or another food according to the prescriptions of the conference of bishops is to be observed on Fridays throughout the year…

Canon 1252: “All persons who have completed their fourteenth year are bound by the law of abstinence…”

How do Michigan Catholics get around these laws? In 1987 a Michigan bishop determined (rather lamely) on this muskrat issue that:

“Although muskrat is a warm-blooded mammal and technically flesh, the custom has been so long held along Michigan’s rivers and marshes that it was ‘immemorial custom,’ thus allowed by canon law.”

Ohhhh……I get it! All Catholics have to do is call something an “immemorial custom,” and they can void their own laws! No wonder so many people are Catholic!

Hebrews 13:9b says, “For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” May God give Catholics repentance from Rome and its silly rules about food, and the grace to turn to Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Katholic Fried Chicken

In an effort to boost sales during the “Lenten” season, KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) announced that a new sandwich called the “KFC Fish Snacker” will be offered.

According to a Feb 21 Yahoo article titled, “KFC Appeals to Higher Authority by Asking for Papal Blessing for New KFC Fish Snacker Sandwich:”

“The company has asked the Pope himself for his blessing…sending a personal letter to the Vatican…beseeching him to bestow his Papal blessing for this innovative new menu item. Vatican official’s confirmed they received KFC’s request, and the company is hopeful to get the Pope’s blessing this Lenten season.”

I hope KFC isn’t holding their breath waiting for a papal “blessing.” However, a large donation to the Catholic Church would probably speed up the process!

Why did KFC try this? To make a few extra lousy dollars. Too many businessmen worship at the altar of money. The bible speaks of such men in the end-times, as God is judging Babylon (Rome) in Revelation 18:12:

“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her (Rome): for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.”

Yes, this is where the “global economy” is going to end up! It will be bad news for Wall Street, Rome, and businessmen, but good news for the Christian as during this judgment, Revelation 18:20 says:

“Rejoice over her (Rome), thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.”

I look forward to rejoicing that day in heaven, as once and for all, God will finally be doing away with this counterfeit known as - the Roman Catholic Church.

Catholicism: 'Always the Same?' Not Quite......

With more and more Catholics choosing to be cremated, the Catholic Church has changed their laws about cremation, and now even uses it as a money-maker! This was seen in the March 2 issue of The Catholic Telegraph, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, in an article titled, “Catholics and Cremation: Times Have Changed.”

The article gave a listing of several monasteries that sell, from $225-$245, various kinds of wooden urns for ashes. Also, ceramic monk-made urns are going for $245 these days.

The pope said in his March 7 weekly audience:

“The church is not a place of confusion or anarchy where each person can do what he wants at the moment.”

However......again the papacy refuses to practice what it preaches! Rome used to prohibit cremation – even to the point of excommunication! Here are two canons from the 1917 Code of Canon Law:

Canon 1240.5: “Persons who have given orders for the cremation of their bodies are deprived of ecclesiastical burial, unless they have before death given some signs of repentance.”

Canon 2339: “Persons who, in violation of the prohibition of Canon 1240, dare to order or force the ecclesiastical burial (of those who are to be deprived of it) incur EXCOMMUNICATION (emphasis mine) ipso facto; and persons who of their own accord give ecclesiastical burial to the above mentioned, incur an interdict from entering a church.”

Since the Catholic Church is a man-made organization, it usually adapts to what the world is doing. Now that cremation is popular, Rome has changed the rules! The new 1983 Code of Canon Law says:

Canon 1176.3: “The Church earnestly recommends that the pious custom of burying bodies of the deceased be observed; nevertheless, the Church does not prohibit cremation unless it was chosen for reasons contrary to Christian doctrine.”

Coincidentally, the article did not publish the above contrasting canons. Sadly, Rome knows that most Catholics will just blindly accept the latest "teaching" without checking to see if Rome taught differently in the past.

The bible says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” This CANNOT be said of the Catholic Church and its ever-changing ways.

The Catholic Church’s motto is Semper Eadem – “Always the Same.” But history shows this is not true. Their real motto should be Semper Diversus – “Always Different.”

May God give Catholics the grace to flee the ever-shifting sands of Catholic teaching, and bless them with faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins.

Masked Catholics

The Archdiocese of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada has prepared guidelines in case bird flu hits their area. This was reported in the Feb 16 Catholic News Service, in an article titled, “Canadian Archdiocese Drafts Guidelines to Prepare for Bird Flu.”

Once again, the screwball notion that Jesus turns Himself into wine and wafers leads to some amusing “guidelines:”

1. “People who handle hosts prior to Mass will be required to wear disposable gloves and masks.”

2. “Eucharistic ministers will have to clean their hands with a hand sanitizer immediately before and after distributing communion.”

3. “If the eucharistic minister accidentally touches a communicant, he or she will have to stop distributing communion and sanitize again before resuming.”

Comments:

1. Did you notice that priests are not mentioned? As usual, Rome lets the clergy off the hook, while the “eucharistic ministers” (laity who help distribute the wafers) will have to kowtow to these ridiculous procedures!

2. After handling “Jesus,” hand sanitizer is needed? What kind of “Jesus” does Rome have?

3. Will hand sanitizer dispensers be conveniently placed on the altars?

Another guideline concerns “confession.” The priest and “penitent” would not meet in the confessional box, but in an open area. They are to be at least three feet apart and – they will both have to wear masks!!

Since we’re dealing with man-made rules, let me make a few suggestions:

Maybe priests should start the Mass by saying, “Masks in place everyone?”

Or, maybe microwave ovens can be placed on the altar, and the Roman “Jesus” be zapped to kill any germs before distribution?

Roman Catholicism – man-made rules for a man-made religion. May the Spirit of our gracious God free more Catholics from the sin of Catholicism and bless them with saving faith in Christ ALONE for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, no masked priests needed.

"Klepto-Clerics"

With the recent investigation of Catholic churches because of the sex-abuse scandals, now other problems are coming to light as church records are examined and the laity are more emboldened to tell the truth about their priests. This was reported in a Feb 15 Time magazine article titled, "Pilfering Priests."

"Klepto-Clerics" is what the article calls those priests who've been stealing money from their parishes. More and more priests are being exposed. The article gave a few examples:

1. One priest in Florida "gave a 'girlfriend' $134,000, made rare coin purchases for $275,000, and owned an oceanfront condominium worth $455,000." And – when investigations began, he gave each church secretary a Christmas card with $1,500 in it, hoping to buy their silence!

2. "Last year a Connecticut priest was accused of pilfering up to $1.4 million to pay for his Audi cars, luxury-hotel stays, jewelry for his boyfriend, and a Fort Lauderdale condo."

3. "Last month a Virginia priest was indicted for allegedly embezzling $600,000 from two Catholic churches – in part to help support the woman and three children he had been secretly living with."

What's the problem? A college professor specializing in church finances said, "I'm appalled at the lack of internal (financial) controls at Catholic parishes."

Even a Catholic diocesan auditor said, "Some pastors still carry an Old World attitude that what's in the collection baskets is theirs personally to do with as they wish."

However, the article asks the BEST question: "But as in the sex-abuse crisis, many are asking, 'Where are the bishops?'"

Exactly!!

Are the bishops acting to reform the financial audit process? According to the article, "Only a handful...of US dioceses are cracking down" on this financial malfeasance. And here's the kicker:

"The US Conference of Catholic Bishops insists that canon law does not allow the Vatican or the Conference to impose such reforms on dioceses."

"Where are the bishops?" The answer is – hiding behind "canon law." How can anyone in their right mind think Catholic bishops are "successors to the apostles" as they claim?

The 8th commandment (Ex 20:15) says, "Thou shalt not steal." What does our Lord Jesus think about Catholic rules like "canon law?" He said in Matthew 15:9, "But in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Once again I thank God for exposing the wickedness of the Catholic Church. May He use this latest example of Roman corruption to grant more Catholics repentance from Rome, and faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. No "pilfering priests" needed!

The Pope Says God Has - "Eros" - For Man

Pope Benedict XVI said some weird and unbiblical things about God in his 2007 “Lenten Message.” This was reported in a Feb 13 Zenit News Agency article titled, “God Thirsts for Human Love, Pope Says.” His Holiness said:

“On the cross, God’s EROS (emphasis mine) for us is made manifest.”

“Is there more ‘mad EROS’ than that which led the Son of God to make Himself one with us…”

The pope is nuts! “Eros” in its Greek meaning refers to sexual desire – inside or outside of marriage, as well as heterosexual or homosexual. In English, we get our word “erotic” from “eros.”

This is an interesting choice of word because the New Testament NEVER uses the word “eros.” And for good reason!! Trench’s Synonyms of the NT says:

“Eros never occurs in the NT…Their (referring to its corresponding noun and adj) absence, which is significant, is partially explained by the way that the world has corrupted their meanings. These words had become so associated with the idea of sensual passion and carried such an aura of unholiness about them that they were not used in Scripture.”

In Greek mythology, Eros was the son of Aphrodite (the goddess of love), but there are differences as to who the father was! One encyclopedia said:

“Eros was the primordial god responsible for lust, love, and sex; he was also worshipped as a fertility deity…Eros was principally the patron of male love…”

Comment – “The patron of male love.” In ancient Greece, Eros was especially worshipped as the patron god of those men who had sexual relationships with young boys! No wonder the boss of the perverted Roman Catholic priesthood picked such a word. His priests today still worship Eros!!

Roman Catholicism is a counterfeit Christianity. Only antichrist could be brazen enough to say such a horrible thing about God. Please pray that God breaks the teeth of the papacy, and grants many Catholics repentance from Rome and faith ALONE in Jesus Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins.

Bible and Koran Equal? The Pope Thinks So......

Pope Benedict XVI recently received the board officers of something called the "Foundation for Interreligious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue." This was reported in a Feb 1 article titled, "Pope Says Jews, Christians, Muslims are Called to Develop Bonds," in The Pilot, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Boston.

This group is another one of those ecumenical fronts featuring Catholic priests, Moslem Imams, and Jewish rabbis. The pope (or Herr Ratzinger as he was called back then) was one of the founding members in 1999.

The visiting officers presented to His Holiness the group's first completed project – a joint edition, and in chronological order, of "the Hebrew bible, the New Testament, and the Quran (koran) in their original languages." The article said:

"The pope also said that reading the three texts together can help believers 'discern and reject' ideas and actions that violate God's will and human dignity."

Comment – How many people have the ability to read Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Arabic? The pope has got to be kidding!! No one's going to read this thing!

But, the pope again shows himself a blasphemer by approving of a koran being tacked on to the bible. "Allah" says in the koran in Surah 2:186:

"I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me WITHOUT ANY MEDIATOR OR INTERCESSOR (emphasis mine)."

I've read the koran from start to finish, and made note of the many places where it is in opposition to the bible. For example, the BIBLE says man needs a mediator! John 14:6 says:

"Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.'"

The bible is from heaven. The koran is from hell. Only a wicked man like the pope would dare shake his fist at God and place a bible in a "joint edition" with a koran.

Roman Catholicism will continue to drag the bible down to the level of other world religion literature as the papacy constantly seeks to make itself master of a global religious system. Pray fervently that God protect us from the papacy!

The Opus Dei Candidate for President

On Jan 20, Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) announced he would run for President in 2008.

Brownback was a Methodist who in 2002 converted to Catholicism under the tutelage of Father Robert McCloskey, an Opus Dei member who works out of Washington's Catholic Information Center.

McCloskey, a Columbia graduate and former Wall Streeter who worked at Merrill Lynch and Citibank, moves easily among the Washington power brokers, and has appeared on all the major US TV news talk shows. He excuses his mixing with the rich and powerful by perverting history and the bible. He wrote in the Jan 2001 issue of the Catholic World Report:

"In the first several centuries of Christianity, the Gospel was most successfully preached not to the poor and the outcasts, but rather to the prosperous middle classes and educated upper classes in the cities."

What?? I wonder what bible he's reading? Jesus said to the disciples of John the Baptist in Matthew 11:5:

"The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the POOR (emphasis mine) have the gospel preached to them."

In Luke 21:1-4, Jesus spoke more favourably of the widow who cast in two mites rather than "the rich men casting in their gifts into the treasury."

Opus Dei is a secretive Catholic organization that recruits the elite and works against nations. From 1985 until his arrest in 2001, Opus Dei member and FBI agent Robert Hanssen sold US secrets to the Soviets and others, in what a March, 2002 US Justice Department memo called, "Possibly the worst intelligence disaster in US history."

Also – the FBI Director from 1993-2001, Louis Freeh, was a suspected Opus Dei member, although this has not been proven. BUT:

1. Freeh's brother Charles was director of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Opus Dei center.

2. Freeh attended the same Catholic Church in Virginia as Robert Hanssen.

3. Coincidentally......Freeh quietly and surprisingly retired in April 2001, two months after Hanssen was arrested. Interesting............

Sam Brownback will fool a lot of Christians by saying he's against abortion and homosexual marriages, when in reality he's probably the Opus Dei puppet in the presidential scramble.

May God protect the USA from Opus Dei and the Roman Catholic Church.

It's "National Migration Week" (Again)

Jan 7-13, the US Catholic Church is celebrating its 26th annual "National Migration Week." This was according to a Jan 4 US Conference of Catholic Bishops letter titled, "National Migration Week to Focus on 'Welcoming Christ in the Migrant.'"

The Roman Church, in its hatred of Protestant America, keeps lobbying for unlimited immigration – with the hope of someday turning the USA into another Mexico.

In this letter, Rome tries to pacify any fears of this Catholic invasion by saying that "Christ" is in the illegal immigrant – therefore we should welcome the illegal!

Comment – Biblically, Christ is NOT "in the migrant." The average illegal alien is "dead in trespasses and sins" (Eph 2:1b) by belonging to the superstition of Roman Catholicism.

The letter also contained the double-talk Rome is famous for:

1. "Persons have the right to migrate to support themselves and their families."

2. "Sovereign nations have the right to control their borders."

Comment - You REALLY don't think the US Catholic bishops ACTUALLY BELIEVE the above #2, do you?

As always with the Catholic Church – they never give you the full story. A recent audit by the US Justice Dept found that 73% of arrested illegal aliens had SIX MORE arrests after release from their first crime! This was reported in a Washington Times Jan 9 article titled, "Illegals Become Repeat Criminals."

Maybe the Catholic bishops should have named their letter - "Welcoming the Criminal in the Migrant."

And – don't expect George Bush to do anything (to the delight of Rome). He'd rather send 20,000 more US soldiers to Iraq rather than defending the US border with Mexico.
